      Cons

professional developments are meaningless district money issues still remain after 5 years of state receivership Lowest paying district in the county District doesnt really care about teachers and rarely listens to new ideas Layoffs every year

I worked at Inglewood USD full-time for more than 4 years

      Cons

The district is bankrupt and under a state appointed superintendent. There is no, I mean no money. It is the lowest paid district in the state. The most motivated and functional students are leaving the district in large numbers, leaving the neediest kids in a system that lacks the resources to support them or help them succeed. I worked their for 4 years and was laid off in three of those years. They are projecting...

      Advice to Management

Find a way to get the state to invest the assets needed to turn the district around, rather than merely managing the hollowing out of the district.

      I worked at Inglewood USD

      Pros

The exam for entrance wasn't too difficult. I had a good experience interviewing. Some of the people that I met are good people. School district vacation schedules.

      Cons

Very disorganized, budget issues, some underhanded practices at times. Some people are underqualified for positions that they hold. very overworked worked and underpaid at times. I would not send my children to any of the schools in this district.

      Advice to Management

My advice would be to do an overhaul of your management and advisory board. Ensure that people have the qualifications necessary to run the district.
