Pay was okay untill recently. Paid holidays but if you commission based the it sucks.

      Cons

Upper management does not care about you at all. Treats you like trash.

      Pros

Good people . Good training . Everybody was always very helpful .

      Cons

Don’t buy into the line of “there’s plenty of opportunity here”. Upper management was in Rancho to give us that speech . And two weeks later there’s 20 layoffs. Pay is bottom of the barrel here.

      Pros

Time off and laid back atmosphere make this a dream job. The associates are nice and work hard. The management group, sups and lower managers, are close.

      Cons

Lack of communication between upper management and lower management needs work. Some days there are several different ideas of what is going on and some times you will not know if something has changed.

      Great company, terrible upper management.

      Pros

Benefits/competitive salary. Allow you to implement new ideas and processes if you can show the benefit. All holidays and suffecient PTO.

      Cons

The hours management works is ridiculous. Expect to work 70 plus hours a week They get no support from upper management. HR does not work with management to resolve employee issues. No work/life balance.

      Pros

Location is centralized for those in the GP, Arlington, and HEB area. Great place to jump start your career and develop new skill sets.

      Cons

Upper management leadership skills are poor and seriously needs training. The environment at Ingram Micro is more like a prison yard with the many cliques or a frat.

Great perks but no upward mobility.

      Pros

Great perks such as an on-site fitness center. A lot of team building exercises which is actually fun.

      Cons

Everyone spends too much time patting themselves in their backs about the business that was handed to them. The upper management have no real world selling experience because they tend to hire people straight out of college, underpay them which in the long run hurts the business. They need to bring in people with experience not just a college degree.
