    Pros

    Such enthusiasm on our birthdays!

    Cons

All the bosses seemed hung up on TPS reports!

I have been working at Initech full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great potential for upper management advancement. I had as many as 4 people working right underneath me. I got promoted when I didn't even show up.

    Cons

Not good for lower level programmers. They like to hire recent grads and farm out work to Singapore.

    Advice to Management

Purchase some really good fire insurance.

I worked at Initech full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Easy promotions if you only appear you are working. Co-workers are interesting characters. Minimal security infrastructure, it would be easy to defraud the business with a worm.

    Cons

Staff recognition is almost non-existent and nobody could ever pronounce my name. It's not hard. Place is staffed by about 60% middle-management.

    Advice to Management

Don't hire entry-level graduates and farm out work to Singapore. That is a terrible SOP.

    Pros

Pretty easy work for the qualifications needed.

    Cons

TPS reports and working on weekends.

    Advice to Management

Don't have 8 bosses for every one employee.

    Pros

I spent an entire week showing how I don't need to be bombarded by TPS reports and was promoted to a managerial position with as many as 43 people under me.

    Cons

Management. Sometime I'll get the same memo from three different bosses l in the course of a normal work day

    Advice to Management

I need to be challenged. Upper management anyone?

I worked at Initech full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

There is a Flinger's nearby, which is handy to grab some java.

    Cons

We have to fill out way too many standardized forms, espcially TPS reports.

    Advice to Management

Stop making us fill out so many TPS reports.

    Pros

The left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. You can collect a paycheck here for years before anyone even know you don't do anything, or work there for that matter. Mondays are celebrated....sort of. Red staplers in the supply room.

    Cons

They make you work on Saturdays, so there is no work life balance. You better love TPS repots because this place is all about them. The lady at the front desk if you have to sit next to her you will stab yourself "Just a moment" oh and there is certain management you do not want near your girlfriend if youknow what I mean.

    Advice to Management

Listen to the two Bobs they seem to know what they are talking about. They recognize talent and are about building scalable processes. Someone fix the damn printers. Ignore any transactions missing a penny or less.

I worked at Initech full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The office is just across the parking lot from Chotchkie's and my coworkers are extraordinarily cool. The benefits package includes occupational hypnotherapy.

    Cons

The commute time to campus is excessive. Management obsesses over the most meaningless details. Cubicles are so small and noisy that it inhibits productive work.

    Advice to Management

Listen to what the employees have to say instead of using consultants to interview employees.
