Inmar has a wonderful culture, values and is a great place to work.
Jul 26, 2013 - Anonymous EmployeeRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Inmar has a wonderful culture that embraces change and allows employees to grow. This is a different culturefferent culturefferent culture and company than it was 7 years ago under the founder. No longer entrepreneurial, but a real business with real processes, high expectations and is very revenue focus. Inmar has high expectations of leaders and employees and pays a great bonus when we win. Inmar expects employees to work hard but also recognizes the value of worklife bonus. To those disgruntled people who wrote the negative reviews, do yourself and Inmar a favor and leave. Your negativity is a drag.
Cons
No company is perfect and Inmar is no exception. It would be nice to have a higher salary and bonus, but this is Winston-Salem, not NYC or Washington, DC. The salaries match the local market.

Pros
Generally the culture is pretty good. 20 PTO days.
Cons
Expensive healthcare, steep learning curve, so many acquisitions employees are stretched so thin. Would love work from home options, cannot believe a tech/data company is so afraid to let employees work from home! This will cause many (younger) employees to look for work with more flexible accommodations.
Continue readingThose who spend time at Inmar Intelligence know we have some of the most amazingly gifted, passionate and caring associates anywhere! The collaboration and energy they exchange lead to amazing innovation. It's our first corporate value "We believe teamwork and positive energy create the best results." For that reason, we do emphasize time together in any one of our offices across the U.S., Canada, Mexico and India. There are associates who work from a home office, those who occasionally do and those who take advantage of our Flex Location Program and move for a time to try an entirely new city. We are in a period of exciting growth and our support and encouragement of one another are so important! There are several healthcare plans and options to provide one that meets your needs - and wellness incentives to help you lower your costs even more. Our Benefits team will be happy to meet with you to ensure you are aware of all you have available. Thanks for your feedback - be sure to also share your feedback on our monthly Pulse Surveys!

Tons of potential opportunity, no concrete vision to reach it
Aug 21, 2014 - Anonymous EmployeeRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Inmar has some pretty good individual folks working there. Most people are kind-hearted, respectful, and care about doing a good job. Inmar is sitting in a good position to do great things with the numerous relationships it's built up over the years with consumer package goods manufacturers, retailers, pharmacies, insurance payers, etc.
Cons
It seems like they haven't really figured out what it means to be a 'technology company' or a 'analytics company'. Those labels are, sadly, about the extent of the vision forward offered. The majority of the organization's technical assets are woefully outdated, disconnected, and sometimes poorly designed. These wouldn't be impossible hurtles, but it's been a challenge to get senior leadership to build an effective business strategy around making better software. Another con worth mentioning is that the culture is very much traditional east coast enterprise. Think big, slow company with lots of bureaucracy, and lots of hurtles to change. Traditional dress, traditional values, etc. If you're looking for the fast-paced, exciting, start-up environment, you won't find it here. On the other hand, if you're looking for stability and process control, this may actually be a pro instead of a con. In all fairness, they do occasionally do some fun things, but they're few and far between.

Pros
Progressive corporate vision and culture Commitment to build and advance premiere status within key solutions through acquisition to strengthen expertise in key divisions Casual dress environment, flexible schedules among some of the best employee perks While there are always cons; when comparing to other organizations, you will find that the grass is not always greener outside of Inmar.
Cons
Lacking client satisfaction Various management levels fall short on accountability standards Holding back individuals from advancing or contributing in specific areas based on subjective standards or pre-conceived notions of associate's capabilities rather than what the associate is actually capable of.

Inmar's Response
We continue to grow and improve in the areas you mention as a team each day, so thank you for providing your feedback. A number of methods are in place to collect information regarding client satisfaction, including our company-wide annual Net Promoter Score survey. Detailed action plans are developed from the results each year and progress has been realized as a result. We also are committed to continuous improvement. Over the past two years, Inmar has invested in a number of new initiatives and tools to develop managers and promote accountability. Each associate should also work with her or his manager to develop a Career Development Plan. As Inmar CEO announced during a Town Hall in 2015, internal development and promotions are important and are measured. Your observations and perceptions are important and can be most effectively addressed by sharing specifics with your manager and/or your Great Teams! Business Partner. Thank you for your commitment and contribution to ensure we continue to grow and win as a team!
