Inmar not what it is cracked up to be
Jan 19, 2015 - Account Representative in Winston-Salem, NCRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Insurance and PTO, 401k but there are other companies in Winston-Salem and surrounding areas that offer more benefits, better insurance and just as many vacation days.
Cons
Inmar's Great teams aka HR encourage the employees to come to them on management issues. They will be condescending to you and what actually happens you become a target for your manager or supervisor. You will have to cross your T's and dot your 'I 's with zero errors. (Unless you are a close friend to them then you have a different set of rules.

not the company it use to be
Sep 5, 2013 - Account Representative in Winston-Salem, NCRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
The pay and PTO is average. They do offer health insurance and has a 401K. They will have a nice building in 2014 that the city, county and state gave them $$$$$ to stay in NC that helped pay for it.
Cons
A lot of managers and supervisors seem to be unaware of NC laws on HIPPA and labor laws. It is more who you know or related to in several departments at Inmar. (managers having family ties working for them) I think if Inmar wants to keep trimming the fat they should really look at cutting some of the directors, managers and supervisors who do nothing but gossip and chat at their desk to their buddies. There are more people looking for other jobs because of fear of being in the next layoff (somehow no news people in Winston-Salem can report).

Absolutely terrible company if you don't live in Winston-Salem
Mar 26, 2021 - Product Lead in Winston-Salem, NCRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Great company to work for if you enjoy company politics.
Cons
They only promote and acknowledge people who play into the politics. The majority of people in management positions are either people who somehow failed up or came in via a merger and are too bewildered by the cult-like company culture to do anything helpful so instead they wait out their contract and leave. The management often claims credit for ideas that are not theirs only to later have credit stolen from them by their managers anyway. The C-Level team is oblivious to reality and wouldn't know leadership if it bit them in the pants. The CEO gives moronic locker room pep-talk style speaches that are so full of church talk and attempts to be inspirational that they make absolutely no sense. We once had an emergency all hands meeting where the CEO tried to outline his new strategy. All we got was an incomprehensable twenty minute speech where he told us that the C-Level suite had spent the last 3 months coming up with something he called 'The Double-Barrelled Turbo Plan.' They literally had a skit and a dance routine to announce it. That's it. He told us the name. Did a dance and never once outlined what was in the plan. No strategy. No actionable tactics. Just a ton of pomp and circumstance. Most of us all left the meeting comfused with the exception of the management team who lauded him as a genius... These guys are sitting on a literal gold mine but have no clue how to properly move into it into the 21st century. The leadership team is actively sabotaging the company's growth trajectory and anyone brought on to right the ship is immediately treated as a heretic if they disagree. You may think I am being hyperbolic here, but I assure you I am not. This isn't even the tip of the iceburg. It was much worse. If your company is bought by them you will see what I am talking about. Especially after your first all hands company meeting (read Church Sermon) in Winston-Salem. They even have a church band...

Great place to learn and work
Dec 24, 2020 - Software Engineer in HyderābādRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
The organisation does a great job of creating a fun environment that also motivates people to be their best. Provides positive work environment without any discrimination between an experienced employee and a fresher. High professional attitude amongst most of the employees. The managers are more like leaders than a boss, who always encourages the team mates. The Managers are highly approachable and very considerate. Any employee can approach the management on any regards with absolutely no hesitation. Every effort is recognised and is paid off at the right time. No blame game is payed at any instance. The organisation has a structured and impressive benefits in the pay scale including Medical benefits. Irrespective of the covid pandemic, work from home is positively encouraged.
Cons
No cafeteria in the office. No transport provided by the office yet fuel reimbursement is there.

Used to be a great place to work
Jun 24, 2015 - Anonymous Employee in Winston-Salem, NCRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
I had worked at Inmar for 5 + years before I was laid off. They have good benefits, great PTO time, and my department was very work / family life understanding. My manager was amazing and I worked under them for the whole time I was there. I could always go to them for help and was always offering me new ways to challenge me and to grow.
Cons
Inmar started out as a wonderful place that really appreciated their employees. The CEO has changed 3 times while I was an employee and as they have changed so has the company culture. The latest CEO came in and slowly all the VP's have left and new ones replaced them. They have were supposed to be hiring all these new people which was part of the pull of them getting the tax credits for the new building. They did hire new people but me and a lot of other employees have been let go in the process. Great Teams is also not very great. While employed I had contacted them several times to take advantage of classes they were offering to update my skills, they never answered my email requests. Also the classes were always shown as full. Instead of offering an employee another open position in the company they will just let you go. They said due to financial reasons I was being let go, no fault of my own. I tried to get rehired for other positions, they either did not call me back or the one time I was offered a phone interview I waited by the phone for an hour at the appointment time but no one called me back.

Not recommended for minorities
Jul 28, 2016 - Account Representative in Winston-Salem, NCRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Great facilities and good 401k match .
Cons
Bad politics . Promotions within that are few and far between . Questionable promotions when they are made . High tendency to hire unsuitable candidates from outside because of the candidate relationship with managers instead of looking within . Less promotion opportunity for minorities and Lack of support from management .

1. Tremendous learning with tremendously smart people. 2. Great people who are incredibly dedicated. 3. On time salary is one of the greatest benefit. 4. No pandemic can stop your salary and the increment, if you are in this company. 5. Inmar India may not be too big Company in India, but the speed with which it's growing, and the work culture it's maintaining, will definitely makes you feel you are working for a BIG Company. 6. Great management team, understands employees issues, both personal/official and does all possibles to resolve it. 7. The Managers and other management teams are highly approachable and very considerate. 8. The employees can approach to the management team on any regards without any hesitation. 9. Loads of opportunities to progress in your career. 10. Its hardly 3years for Inmar India being setup and the progress with which it's growing, I have already seen and will see even more tremendous growth of both company and its employees in coming future. 11. If you need some refreshments, don’t worry you got TT Table, Carrom board , Chess etc. and nice almost zero traffic surrounding for a walk.
Cons
No Cafeteria, but yes wending machine and evening snacks are provided No Cabs facility

Pros
Inmar has by far exceeded my expectations for a workplace in multiple ways. Creativity and having a voice are truly valued and encouraged on a regular basis. The pay is competitive. Manager feedback is readily available and constantly shared. Flexibility, individualism, and straightforwardness are only a few of the numerous benefits enjoyed in a career with Inmar.
Cons
The only downside to working at Inmar is that we have not moved to the new downtown location yet!

Pros
They are open to remote work.
Cons
Toxic work environment. Immature and unprofessional managers. A LOT of old technology. You do not want to work here. Especially if you are new or re-entering the workforce.
