A Great Place to Start
Oct 8, 2014 - CMS Employee in Winston-Salem, NCRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Inmar is a great company for a young person or someone getting back into the workplace. There are a lot of internal classes, book clubs and discussions of what is trending in the business world. Management can be a bit preachy when trying to inspire. But compared to other companies that I have worked for where no one was even making an effort to inspire the employees, I found this refreshing. Also, the work life balance is very good and there are wonderful opportunities for children to be invited to the office for events.
Cons
Sometimes strategies change significantly from year to year. Sometimes I worried that leadership would run out of ideas. There needs to be more opportunities for cross training.

Great place for work life balance, amazing teams and management
Apr 7, 2021 - Software Engineer II in HyderābādRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Great opportunities to work with people from different diversities. Very good guidance from senior engineers/managers/directors on the professional and personal front. Great work-life balance, management will ask you to take breaks and focus on yourself. Inmar always focuses on matching the current technology trends. (e.x. deployments to Kubernetes cluster in each environment) A lot of opportunities available to explore and grow to the next level You can approach management directly at any level. Also here we have an opportunity for training and compensation for earned certifications Inmar Hyderabad's office is currently growing at a rapid pace providing a lot of opportunities. Work from home is positively encouraged even before Covid. We have timely outings, recreational content, managers visiting from the US for creating more personal and professional bonding Indoor games like TT, Caroms, Chess are available for refreshment
Cons
Only one thing I used to have in mind i.e. about office location which is currently in jubilee hills, but recently management announced confirming about moving to a new workplace in this July which is an amazing location. So no cons right now.

Great company vision as a whole. Schedule Flexibility, PTO and some wonderful people.
Cons
With Tom gone, it feels like the backbone structure, the leadership holding it all together, is gone. Every woman and man for himself. Some put in impossible situations. Where is management.Oh that's right in meetings.Meetings not helping their underlings better service clients.Meetings on how better training could be provided.Nope. No backbone exists anymore. No management accountability. Employees feel under trained and under supported and nitpicked to death.Almost like managers are bored and have nothing to do but think of roadblocks to our job and assign an arbitrary value to it.Disregarding reality..Some employees feel like Managers need to be impartial as well and not reserve opportunities for personal friends.

Transitions can be unsettling and challenging and we are sorry that the transition has been difficult for you. At the same time, it is exciting when someone is able to advance within the company. Transitions then also provide an opportunity for new leaders to emerge. Please actively and honestly communicate with management to work toward progress that builds an even stronger team. Resources are available to help you - please reach out to your Great Teams Business Partner, or any member of Great Teams!, including directly contacting our EVP, Corporate Communications and Great Teams. Executive Administrative Assistant
Jul 2, 2016 - Executive Administrative Assistant in Winston-Salem, NCRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Inmar's CEO is an awesome leader and engages daily with employees. He is a strong mentor and has insight for the next level of growth. He rewards employees for great accomplishments and challenges us to always be thinking of what we can do better and more efficiently.
Cons
We need to review standards for new-hire training so that all employees know and understand the systems/procedures they will be using in their position. You can't rely on departmental employees to explain or guide due to their workload. Inmar is a very complex business and the every day language of what we do can be reviewed as being complicated to learn.

Cons

Pros
Incredible team, Great benefits, great pay
Cons
The training framework is still in development but this was a new position at the time. It is a very fast but intense learning process. Not really a con if you are the type of person who picks things up quickly.

Decent benefits and hours. Decent opportunity for growth if you happen to be in the right departments.
Cons
Management was difficult to work for. Terrible training but yet they expected you to know things you were not properly trained in.

Not a positive experience
Dec 20, 2017 - Anonymous Employee in Fort Worth, TXRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Generous PTO time for corporate employees Decent costs and options for benefits (corporate employee)
Cons
Unethical behavior by management, supervisors, and HR who were made aware of situations that should have resulted in disciplinary action, but were not Zero work-life balance, expected to be available even when taking PTO Little to no respect for hourly associates Non-competitive salary for both corporate and hourly associates Training of new employees is minimal and ineffective Fort Worth location is filthy, smells terrible and is just unhealthy - not noticeable in the pristine lobby area, but the break rooms and restrooms used by warehouse staff are deplorable.

Inmar's Response
Inmar policy requires that all associates operate ethically and any reports of unethical behavior are taken seriously and investigated. In addition to an internal escalation process, team members have an 800 line to report unethical behavior - anonymously if they wish. Members of Great Teams/HR investigate a situation as soon as they are made aware and address it with the party involved and their manager. Additional confidential corrective action is taken when appropriate. As a team, we are committed to continuous improvement of processes and the work environment and are receptive to feedback. We operate in an open door environment at Inmar. All levels of management are open to listening to and reacting to concerns raised by team members.

Trade relations rep
Aug 29, 2017 - Trade Relations Representative in Winston-Salem, NCRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
The pay was really good
Cons
Management was terrible. There was favoritism and the manager trained poorly and expected you to get the specifics of the job based on the poor training. It's very micro managed. Management were sneaky and would lie for their favorites to keep them out of trouble. Great teams was not helpful and seemed to be very close to management.
