    Pros

The people, the tech, the great physical work environment, no dress code, challenges and opportunities for growth abound. Serious about their work, but not stuffy.

    Cons

Pays slightly less but it's a worthwhile trade off if you aren't the type that got into it primarily for cash.

I have been working at InnerWorkings full-time

    Pros

Stable, growing company, rarely downsizes. Good starter job for your resume.

    Cons

Execs do not receive suggestions well, neither do managers. Lies about raises. Most office employees look like they want to quit, but don't want the hassle of finding new jobs.

    Advice to Management

Pay attention to employees. If they work hard, reward them. If they're interested in advancing their careers, work with them to do so. If you send out an email saying that the company made $65 million in profit last year, don't let the management say there was no room for bigger raises. Seriously. You could give everyone in the entire company an additional 2% raise and it wouldn't even dent the profits you make.

    Pros

I love working here. I came from a job from hell and have had nothing but encouragement since I started. The people are great. Everyone is ready to help you learn. There are opportunities to grow.

    Cons

Training has been a little difficult only because I'm working on a new client.

    Pros

Dynamic culture, genuinely care about their employees. The company is loaded with very smart people - great place to learn and grow.

    Cons

Geographically spread out which sometimes makes things difficult, but the support is always there to overcome. Insurance benefits are a bit expensive, but no more so than other similar size organizations.

    Advice to Management

Remain focused on long term growth and sustainability. Dedicate resources to drive a truly robust global solution. Consider changing portions of the technology team to complete work that has taken entirely too much time and resources to complete.

I worked at InnerWorkings full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Fun, entrepreneurial environment with a lot of smart executives with fast-paced expectations for growth. High degree of competencies with strategic sourcing/supplier network and technology applications (custom developed for large clients).

    Cons

Grew a lot by acquisitions - so there are several silos throughout global footprint as different markets and management teams learn what others capabilities are - not consistent in every country.

    Advice to Management

Need to standardize roles/responsibilities across different job descriptions, so that team members are fairly tasked with appropriate work, and have career progression opportunities.
