I have been working at Innovim (More than 5 years)

    Pros

For a growing company Innovim still has a small company feel when dealing with employees. Good benefits and pay. Very interesting work.

    Cons

Majority of contracts located in the Washington DC area.

I worked at Innovim (More than a year)

    Pros

Small company size resulted in most of management knowing me on a first name basis. Management genuinely seemed to care, even if they did not know how to properly or adequately respond to situations. Employer funded life insurance. Never missed payroll.

    Cons

Health benefit and 401k packages are laughable. General lack of attention to detail. Some management seemed overworked as the company appears to be going through growing pains. No clear pathways for advancement or development within the company. Frequent turnover.

    Advice to Management

Provide more tangible recognition for your employees. Bring benefits into line with competitors. Frequent turnover within company leads to other trickle-down issues, that could be remedied if more of the profits were actively spent improving salaries/benefits.

I have been working at Innovim full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Active small business open to employee ideas with flexible work schedules and job descriptions. It's a good place to try new career paths and explore ancillary interests. Pretty much everything you do as an employee makes a difference.

    Cons

As with many small businesses, processes have grown up organically and often aren't documented. That's been recognized by management, though, and it looks like its changing pretty rapidly.

    Advice to Management

On the right path now - please continue growing the employees along with the company.

    Pros

The co-workers are nice. Very mice environment to work at.

    Cons

Some of the management team members make promises to employees that they cannot keep. There have been a lot of lay offs lately. That shows that they lack in stability.

    Pros

    Not much to see here

    Cons

This company will promise you positions then hand them to someone else without ever saying a word to you. Not a place to advance your career.
