I have been working at Inovalon full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Great co-workers; location; work flexibility (remote options)

    Cons

Low merit increases; high turnover; salary; stressful environment (hard to maintain work-life balance) unless you work for a good manager

    Advice to Management

Focus on retention - lots of great associates have left and their knowledge with them. Current employees don't feel any sense of stability and are struggling to meet the demands of the company.

    Cons

    Advice to Management

Not going to waste my time writing all of the negatives out. I'm genuinely SHOCKED this company is still in business. How? What are they doing and telling their investors to keep this company afloat? It boggles my mind.

I worked at Inovalon full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Depends on the team you are on. My manager was amazing and was flexible when I need to work from home.
Most people are great to work with.

    Cons

Layoffs is an annual event here. Sometimes it happens twice a year which leads to super low morale.
Most people in IT on an H-1b visa which means everyone is overworked, no one speaks up to management for bad decisions and English is the second language spoken here.
Favoritism is very apparent where people are hired because their spouses work here instead of having the right skills.
If you know the right people you can advance, otherwise there is no chance for advancement.
Learning new technology? Unless you are on the right team, there is no chance they will agree to it.
Some managers and directors have bankers’ hours while they expect their teams to do whatever is necessary to get things done.

    Advice to Management

What's the point, Keith will never change.
