I worked at Insight Beverages full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great people. Informal atmosphere. Relatively easy to get things done. Very little "hierarchy" or working in silos. Great onboarding programs.

    Cons

As with other mid-size companies, budget constraints always pay a role in marketing budgets available.

    Advice to Management

Your open and sharing management style is excellent. Do not change this as the company grows. It is a strength and seems to contribute to employee satisfaction.

    Pros

    Small company
    good benefits
nice people for the most part

    Cons

    Small company
    high expectations
    Not flexible
    Not family oriented
    minumum vacation time

    Advice to Management

Being a small company is an asset in many ways, rather than trying so hard to operate as large companies operate (or as you think they operate), take advatage of being small. Create more personal relationships with employees. Get to know them, let them know that family is important, get to know their families.... just have a more open relationship with employees. In short, try to or at least act as though you care about your employee's.

    Pros

Small company allows for frequent communication
Nice people overall, a few disgruntled
    Some flexibility with family
For the most part, decent resources

    Cons

    Poor management and qualifications
    Limited to no advancement
Very slow to move on projects
    Poor benefits and vacation time
    High expectations/unrealistic timelines

    Advice to Management

Communicate more with your employees and utilize the skills they have to leverage new opportunities. Provide your employees with incentives to meet company goals. Poor structure in place.
