    Pros

Great place to work. Very team oriented environment with the easiest access to management and executives. Your goals are very clear and attainable.

    Cons

Benefits could be better in certain areas. The company is working to improve them. The 401k match was doubled for 2017. Health insurance is extremely affordable, but a very high deductible plan. It's ideal for healthy individuals, but if you have children and use the coverage a lot, it's a lot of out of pocket expenses.

I have been working at Insight full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

I have been with the company for many years. The company is fun and there are endless job opportunities to move up into.

    Cons

Getting a raise, even when jumping multiple levels is painful and in most cases the salary increase is laughable. Make sure you negotiate an excellent wage to start with because you maybe disappointed 5-10 years down the road.

I have been working at Insight full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    - Great environment to work in. Work events and great people.
    - Lots of areas to move up in. HQ in Tempe so a lot of different opportunities
    - Flexible schedule (depending on manager and role)
    - 401K match is good

    Cons

    - Since it is a HQ and there are a lot of people that work here, sometimes you are just a number. Can get lost in the big corp setting.
    - Getting paid of spiffs is an after thought to Insight. Like they will get around to it but this has a lot to do with how large the company is.

    Insight Response

I have been working at Insight full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Complete Autonomy "running your business". Leadership helps when applicable to make sure you can work efficiently. Executives from HQ truly care about the success of our location.

    Cons

Starting with complete "White Space" accounts is a challenge with a limited portfolio. Backend processes are cumbersome when they could easily be fixed to help streamline business.

    Advice to Management

Continue being an open book. Most companies don't listen to their workforce and that is not the case with Insight.

    Pros

Challenging fast paced IT environment. Outstanding co-workers, lots of opportunities to succeed. IT Management is very supportive and shows concern for employees well being

    Cons

sometimes too much going on at once. The employees have to be able to manage many tasks at once so if that is not to your liking then Insight may not be a fit for you

I worked at Insight full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Sales team I worked with was great! The Partners are great and easy to work with. I felt I could really make a difference there and own my business.

    Cons

The marketing team was very clicky and hard to get along with, felt like I was in high school. When the VP came in, she made life awful. A lot of people left after me. I see a lot of marketing jobs all the time. Seems like they can't keep people.

    Advice to Management

Treat your people good and stop trying to have a "nobody is going to tell me what to do" attitude. You have a lot of good people working for you, don't take it for granted.
