I worked at Insperity full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Great PTO. Company culture once was great, too. Great location.

    Cons

Culture has become toxic. Zero leadership and mid-level management is inept in doing their actual jobs. Recruiters are treated like numbers instead of people. Shame as the company could really be a true employer of choice as they claim to be but sadly it's not. Low base pay. No commission.

    Advice to Management

Pay attention to the managers you hire and keep them accountable. Treat your greatest resources--your staff--like people. Make it more about just money and numbers.

I have been working at Insperity full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great work-life balance, excellent benefits, somewhat competitive base salary, and a fast growing company that exceeds goals year over year.

    Cons

Low annual raise/bonus structure coupled with no clear path to be promoted to Senior title or Management leaves some employees feeling stuck.

    Advice to Management

While setting goals, create a clear path for those who want to grow within the company. Let your employees know what is expected in order to climb the ladder.

I have been working at Insperity full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    Great benefits and corporate culture!

    Cons

Because the healthcare benefits are so amazing the base salaries are sometimes a bit lower. The total package is worth looking at. It works for some, but not all - depends on what you are seeking in a position overall.

    Pros

Great benefits. Great team work. Sourcing team is amazing. Made friends for life.

    Cons

Unreasonable expectations. The recruiting department is terrible. Stay away. And you'll be disappointed come bonus time.

    Advice to Management

I have been working at Insperity full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

I thoroughly enjoy my career here at Insperity. There are so many opportunities to learn and grow with the organization and there is continuous praise and feedback. There is a great performance management system in place and continuous recognition. There is a spirit of comradery and family and team that promotes growth and free thinking. I feel that this is not just a career. I am changing lives, business, and communities!

    Cons

The only con is my commute, but I would drive further to work for such a great organization!

I have been working at Insperity full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Work Life Balance is the only PRO

    Cons

You need a work life balance to decompress from the recruiting dept. WHAT A NIGHTMARE!! NO benefits, salary or extra PTO is worth losing the value in yourself! This dept. is absolutely disgusting!!! Change today, change tomorrow, nothing stays the same. You have NO voice and you are merely just a puppet! This job is a JOKE!

    Advice to Management

Leave the company and never leave your house because you are a horrible set of people!

I worked at Insperity full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Work/Life Balance, excellent benefits, understands the importance of employee appreciation, strong emphasis on volunteerism. I met some of the most amazing people while working with Insperity and know that those friendships will continue on outside of employment with Insperity.

    Cons

The organizational structure is constantly changing and this can be unsettling at best. The fairly new management team is disconnected from what drives the employees.

    Advice to Management

Offer management training opportunities to employees as a way to move up in the organization
