    Pros

In this position, you have the ability to make a real impact on the defense community and you feel like you are truly doing something altruistic. I enjoyed the opportunity to meet so many different people during all of our events.

The internal IDB team is great to work with too!

    Cons

Long hours impacted my ability to properly handle stress. I also feel like leadership doesn't fully understand the impact and burden of the working environment and how difficult it is to manage competing priorities.

    Advice to Management

Better staffing. Stronger communication. More attention to employee stress.

    Pros

Great opportunity to interact directly with management and clients. You get full control of your project and research and Management values your work

    Cons

Fast pace and little supervision can make work stressful if you don't have a good time management skill set or a supervisor all the time

    Advice to Management

Research projects should be given in groups and not to individuals allowing people to learn from each other and improve their skills
