Upper management is great, middle management needs revamped. Group leaders are simply told to get the numbers. Also, favorites are definitely an issue. Too many positional leaders.

    Pros

Some teams have a very relaxed environment, you can learn a lot if you are with the right team. Everything depends on the manager and the work.

    Cons

There are some managers who have no self-respect because they think that they will get fired easily. It's very demotivating to work with such people.

    Advice to Management

Invest in your employees, by giving them proper training. Also, increase the salary range to proper Bay Area standard salary.

I worked at Intel Corporation full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Intel Benefits and Salary are/were excellent. Release package was also very good.

    Cons

There is always an uncertainty that you or your division could be on the chopping block, especially if you are not employed at one of their U.S. West Coast facilities. All other internal perks programs are also to benefit those employees on the West Coast.

    Advice to Management

With Intel being a worldwide employer; more consideration should be given to the talent level of the U.S. East Coast. Not everybody wants to or can live in Oregon, California or Arizona.
