I have been working at Intel Corporation full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Competitive compensation; 20% telecommuting; broad scope of work.

    Cons

Upper-management seems unaware of the struggles of those in the trenches. It doesn't feel like employees are valued; i.e. we're treated as expenses to be minimized.

    Advice to Management

It no longer feels like Intel is a great place to work. Invest in your people and instill commitment in them. That's how you do something wonderful. Morale is a finite resource that has been depleted in recent years. We can't keep squeezing those who survived layoffs and expect them to stick around.

I have been working at Intel Corporation full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

    Established semiconductor leader
Wants to be the silicon provider of choice in 4 emerging technologies: AI, autonomous driving, 5G, and Virtual Reality.

    Cons

    Difficult market headwinds
More interest in milking the existing sacred cows than in creating new revolutionary technology

I have been working at Intel Corporation full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Intel creates a results oriented environment that is driving innovation globally. There are opportunities to partner with the business to drive the right financial decisions for the shareholders.

    Cons

Intel is no longer growing the finance organization and with that, there are limited growth opportunities and the ability to find the right role to match your future goals.

    Advice to Management

Intel should continue to drive organizational and cultural changes that will enable it to be successful in the future.

    Pros

Good benefits, work flexibility and very talented people to work with.

    Cons

Work life balance no longer exist especially if the project is developed across multi geographies. Work environment has changed every since Intel missed the phone wave.

    Advice to Management

Get senior leadership from outside Intel and even outside the semi conductor industry to provide Intel with a new vision.

I worked at Intel Corporation full-time

    Pros

Some of the smartest people in the industry
    Amazing technology
    Great benefits

    Cons

Culture has taken a massive nosedive in the past 5+ years. Especially under BK's leadership.
They start new businesses only to shut them down before they have a chance to take hold. Example... if they stayed with Intel Online Services, they would have been the AWS of the industry. But they lack patience and continue to sink money into projects only to kill them about 1-2 yrs later.

    Advice to Management

This used to be one of the most amazing places to work and now when you talk to people there, they all hate it and want to leave. If they don't prioritize fixing the culture and treating their employees better, this company will only continue to deteriorate.
