I worked at Intel Corporation full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

    Benefits, time off, compensation, stocks

    Cons

Many re-deployments, un-appreciated unless your in engineering, can only advance so far, complacency

    Advice to Management

Upper management is great, middle management needs revamped. Group leaders are simply told to get the numbers. Also, favorites are definitely an issue. Too many positional leaders.

I have been working at Intel Corporation full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Cutting edge work, best in class EXOS program (trainers/nutritionist/exercise classes), seems better than average on keeping employees long term, good work life balance if you are on the software side

    Cons

not an agile company in general, even hiring has a huge overhead. Hardware side of the company is a fine-tuned machine, software side is still rough around the edges

    Advice to Management

improve communication between groups to avoid work duplication and improve labor division

    Pros

Some teams have a very relaxed environment, you can learn a lot if you are with the right team. Everything depends on the manager and the work.

    Cons

There are some managers who have no self-respect because they think that they will get fired easily. It's very demotivating to work with such people.

    Advice to Management

Invest in your employees, by giving them proper training. Also, increase the salary range to proper Bay Area standard salary.

    Pros

    Incredibly smart and talented co-workers
Great work-life balance most of the time (there are always exceptions)
    Consistent and fair compensation
