I worked at Intel Corporation full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Taught me a lot about the law (I had zero prior experience). Flexible schedule. I was able to get a really good job after I left.

    Cons

I went months without getting paid many times. Seriously even after we had a signed agreement. I didn't get a pay stub. Not even once.

    Advice to Management

Pay your bills and create a budget. Tries to have good morals but completely unrealistic. I wish the company and the clients all the best.

    Neutral Outlook

I worked at Intel Corporation full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

excellent benefits, competitive salaries, multiple locations of employment available in a number of states.

    Cons

managerial approaches rooted firmly in the 80's; MBO, 360's, annual reviews. Designed to give the appearance of actual management guidance but in fact just a system for tracking/justifying adjustments in grade that keep pace with inflation (averaged over 5 years). Usual management bs about valuing people etc but in reality, no real guidance when career challenges arise. You're on your own.

    Advice to Management

When you actually start managing people in an intelligent way, perhaps the stock will start growing again. Not betting on it.

    Disapproves of CEO

I worked at Intel Corporation (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Free fruit and drinks for employees. The company is very safety orientated, with a very safe environment. The company also overs goo pay and benefits.

    Cons

Management does not have a clue how to manage people. Most managers were promoted for doing a great technical job, but are not people persons.

    Advice to Management

Get managers than know how to manage people. Most managers were promoted for doing a great technical job, but are not people persons.
