I have been working at Intellect Resources full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    1. Love my peers, its a good team all around.
    2. As a group we are always looking for ways to be better. I like that.
3 Employees are allowed to grow/stretch, take classes or our choosing and speak up with ideas.
    4. We are invited to point out issues and be part of the solution. Not everyone is comfortable doing that. but those who are, enjoy that kind of creative thinking and problem solving.
    5. As long as I am performing, I can work pretty independently and there is freedom to try new things in a safe environment with opportunity to make mistakes as long as we learn from them. We don't have to worry about being fired over mistakes. At least I haven't seen that happen yet.
    6. We care a lot about our people and our candidates and our clients.

    Cons

CEO is not afraid to try new things or think way out of the proverbial box and that can be intimidating or overwhelming at times.

    Advice to Management

Don't hang onto under performing or difficult staff just because they are loyal or have been with you for a long time. It is demotivating to the others. You also give everyone a long leash for independence before they earn it and its frustrating to see folks take advantage of it while the rest of us are giving our all.

I have been working at Intellect Resources full-time

    Pros

Intellect Resources offers a small close knit team of employees who are dedicated to working together, wearing multiple hats and being flexible and supportive in order to cultivate success. This is a hard-working team with focus and a desire to enjoy what they do!

    Cons

For folks who like to work to a specific "job description" this isn't likely the place for you. All employees are cross-trained and need to be nimble on a daily basis.

    Advice to Management

Continue to empower those around you with the many skills you possess!

Close-knit, ability to work autonomously, tools to succeed, flexible, busy, fun

    Cons

There really are no downsides. If you are looking for a large, corporate work environment, this is not the place for you.

    Advice to Management

    Keep up the good work!

The people, from the CEO Tiffany to all the Consultants!

    Cons

Most of the time we all work from home so I miss seeing everyone on a daily basis.

    Advice to Management

Continue to teach, learn and grow.

Remote work is sometimes a double edged sword; we love the freedom, but all get lonely sometimes! We host quarterly whole-team meetings and an annual retreat with an awards dinner -- and not... More

    Pros

IR has the ability to allow so much professional growth and push you to branch out into areas you didn't think you could or would be successful in. The confidence and culture surrounding their employees speaks volumes.

    Cons

There should be more training on certain items in the first 90 days. But overall, its growing and learning that bring the company together.

    Advice to Management

    Awesome job leading your employees!

I worked at Intellect Resources (Less than a year)

    Pros

IR offered me s great start into EHR Training.

    Cons

At the time, there were so many of us, it was hard to get noticed without standing out. On large projects, a good employee review process would've helped.

    Pros

Intellect is able to identify and build up its internal talent often creating positions to highlight (and challenge) the specific skills of individual employees.

    Cons

Internal processes are always being evaluated and updated based on market needs and staff strengths (or weaknesses). Those who love change and/or continuous improvement will love working here. If not, the pace may be too much.

    Pros

Great people, positive energy, flexible environment. Intellect Resources values it's employers and is passionate about its work and mission.

    Cons

Some of the processes are not automated and have to be done manually. This just comes along with being a small company.

I have been working at Intellect Resources full-time

    Pros

Have worked there for quite a few years now. Small company, and very open to changing as the industry needs it. Very friendly staff, quick to respond if you have a query. Good opportunities for career advancement, if you are willing and flexible. Small company means you often have to wear multiple hats.

    Cons

Some people might consider wearing multiple hats to be a con, but you might find yourself being asked to take on responsibilities that are not strictly within your job description. I find that a great opportunity to learn new areas of the business, but I appreciate that not everyone will feel that way. Also, the majority of the company works remotely, so it takes some effort to stay connected, although we do have regular team meetings.
