The people, from the CEO Tiffany to all the Consultants!

    Cons

Most of the time we all work from home so I miss seeing everyone on a daily basis.

    Advice to Management

Continue to teach, learn and grow.

    Pros

IR has the ability to allow so much professional growth and push you to branch out into areas you didn't think you could or would be successful in. The confidence and culture surrounding their employees speaks volumes.

    Cons

There should be more training on certain items in the first 90 days. But overall, its growing and learning that bring the company together.

    Advice to Management

    Awesome job leading your employees!

I worked at Intellect Resources (Less than a year)

    Pros

IR offered me s great start into EHR Training.

    Cons

At the time, there were so many of us, it was hard to get noticed without standing out. On large projects, a good employee review process would've helped.

I have been working at Intellect Resources full-time

    Pros

Intellect is able to identify and build up its internal talent often creating positions to highlight (and challenge) the specific skills of individual employees.

    Cons

Internal processes are always being evaluated and updated based on market needs and staff strengths (or weaknesses). Those who love change and/or continuous improvement will love working here. If not, the pace may be too much.

    Pros

Great people, positive energy, flexible environment. Intellect Resources values it's employers and is passionate about its work and mission.

    Cons

Some of the processes are not automated and have to be done manually. This just comes along with being a small company.

I have been working at Intellect Resources full-time

    Pros

Have worked there for quite a few years now. Small company, and very open to changing as the industry needs it. Very friendly staff, quick to respond if you have a query. Good opportunities for career advancement, if you are willing and flexible. Small company means you often have to wear multiple hats.

    Cons

Some people might consider wearing multiple hats to be a con, but you might find yourself being asked to take on responsibilities that are not strictly within your job description. I find that a great opportunity to learn new areas of the business, but I appreciate that not everyone will feel that way. Also, the majority of the company works remotely, so it takes some effort to stay connected, although we do have regular team meetings.

I have been working at Intellect Resources full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The company is growing fast, and that brings a lot of opportunity. However it is also small, so it's a very close knit group, and, regardless of your background and experience, you have the opportunity to get involved in, and learn about, all areas of the business. The CEO prides herself in treating everyone as an individual, and that comes across clearly, whether dealing with long term employees, short term consultants in the field, or clients, and is something we are all driven to do, too.

    Cons

While we grow, our systems and processes, which suited a smaller company, have not kept up. Right now, that means a period of extreme and constant change, which might not suit everybody. Also, we pride ourselves on being very responsive to client needs, but that also might mean sudden changes of direction, so this is not an environment for someone who cannot work flexibly. Lastly, we take great pride in providing the best service for our clients, and have a low tolerance for those who do not have the required level of professionalism and commitment. Not everyone is prepared to put in that required effort, unfortunately.

    Advice to Management

Perhaps it's necessary to share some of the challenges faced, so that there is a better downstream understanding of the issues.
