I have been working at IntelliTec Colleges part-time

    Pros

Good company not too many issues. People there are friendly and easy to work with. Three day weekends are always good because I work Monday through Thursday night 4 pm to 10 pm.

    Cons

As a part time person I would like to get more than 25 hours a week.

I worked at IntelliTec Colleges full-time

    Pros

Nice professional facility. friendly clinic atmosphere for a school.

    Cons

Management/supervisor is not passionate about massage and it was always felt by the students. For the most part they hire friends and don't like anyone who is passionate about massage. Appear very supportive to students but have no problem sabotaging the students for themselves. Program curriculum does not properly prepare students for MBLEX exam. Very low pass rate. All about the money for this school. They hired me saying I would have benefits. Only benefits were doughnuts once in a while. I had to see a lawyer and he told me he had had many instructors /employees from the school.

    Advice to Management

Listen to the students that communicated their concerns more. Politics and "clicks" don't educate unless they love massage. Pay attention to what the students say and need. Program would have flourished.

    Pros

Good if your looking for a job for 6 week's, or to fill in until you find another job.

    Cons

Intellitec college in grand junction, Colorado is not a very good place to be a Instructor. They have a very high turn over, they have alot of family members employed there and if one doesn't care for you, you're out the door. There is alot of favoritism within the school, employees and student's.

    Advice to Management

Treat your instructor's with respect and your students fairly!

I have been working at IntelliTec Colleges full-time

    Pros

I cannot think of any! I work here because I needed a job.

    Cons

    Pay sucks
    Micromanagement
Too many students are there to collect a check from veteran's benefits. Most do just enough to keep the benefits coming. Lord help you if you expect them to do anything.

    Advice to Management

Pay better. A coffee mug does not show appreciation.

    Pros

Small class environments, Great Program and dedicated students. Good support from Program management teams.

    Cons

Hours are more difficult with a long break between morning and afternoon classes for full time instructors. Pay rate is low compared with other industry jobs, but it is a teaching job.

I have been working at IntelliTec Colleges full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Friendly, supportive co-workers. IntelliTec offers amazing benefits including time-off, medical, dental, and FSA for daycare. I have a family and my supervisors have always been supportive when I have had family emergencies.
From day one, my ideas and suggestions have been heard and I feel like part of a family.

    Cons

A period of adjustment has been needed as a new person working with employees that have been at IntelliTec for decades.

    Advice to Management

Continue to encourage and support enthusiasm for the job and encourage the sense of "team".

    Cons

Unorganized, unhealthy work environment. Poor communication between management and employees. Poor morale. A real downer to go to work everyday. Terrible health insurance, no 401(k)

    Advice to Management

No sense in wasting words here; management isn't willing to listen or accept responsibility so why bother?
