    Pros

Coworkers were generally good people. Some flexibility to work off-site and stagger hours to avoid the worst commuting traffic.

    Cons

The senior management were both lazy and incompetent. Unable to provide anything but platitudes and parroted marketing speeches, they were unable (or unwilling) to perform even the most basic management responsibilities consistently. Unethical behavior seems habitual as they have employees working on multiple projects yet present the illusion to clients that the employee is dedicated to just one project. No real effort to support work\life balance. Salary reviews and bonuses promised yet mysteriously never happen (or happen nearly a year late). This company is a case study in the making (dysfunctional management - symptoms and solutions).

    Advice to Management

Turn over senior management over to competent leadership and learn from them.

    Pros

Salary is ok, good group of staff, projects are okay, there is not a lot of pro's with this company. The do have free snacks and drinks in the kitchen and the owners dont micro manager, however I am not sure what they do all day. There is some flexibility as working off site and on campus so you dont have to be in the office

    Cons

No support frim management, management does not engage with staff, managment plays favorites, lack of comminication, managment is dishonest, large turnover. The work place is pretty depressing as most people are there because they want a pay check and not because they enjoy it. There has been a lot of turn over an most of the senior people have left to find better opportunities.

    Advice to Management

Engage with staff, make them feel like you want them there. Run the business honestly and quit trying to squeeze your customers. Get to know who works for you and get a feel of what they want to work on. Try to be on site more often and business classes.

    Pros

Flexible schedule, good benefits & vacation days per year, typical salary range, great coworkers and supportive teams, good variety of projects

    Cons

Ineffective and often absent management, lack of training support, lack of career advancement opportunities, management has favorites and often misleads employees on opportunities, issues and important information.

    Advice to Management

Get to know employees, pay more attention to morale, be in the office more often and connect with employees - they are alienated and unsupported by management, and mid-level management is often so overbooked they cannot support their staff. Proper structure is lacking.
