I have been working at InterCall full-time

    Pros

Smart people. Can be fun. Good vision.

    Cons

Cheap, cheap, cheap! Disingenuous. Stuck in business processes from 20 years ago, refusing to accept new ideas or opportunities for change!

    Advice to Management

Reconsider how you forecast business. Provide productivity tools for your people. Allow people to do what they need to get the business you want. Try Marketing your products!

    Cons

Favortism, immaturity, stale pay, and mediocre management

    Advice to Management

take more stock in employees , especially the loyal ones....and appreciate the ones with tenure.....they seem to hire anybody without fail ..they just wanna fill sits....

    Pros

I love my job. Currently I am working 2nd shift part-time and I get weekends off which is AWESOME SAUCE! Great down to earth management and wonderful co-workers. Benefits are slamming, you name it, we got it. Also, everyone is given an equal opportunity to advance.

    Cons

Non that I can think of

I have been working at InterCall part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The team work and help is very good. The company gives you the opportunity to go full time. At fist my shift was 11:30-5:15 Monday-Friday. After working that shift for about a month my shift was changed to 6:30am-12:15pm.

    Cons

The only con is that the entire building is way too cold!! And when I say cold I mean cold. It is to the point where it is almost unbearable. I know that the computers have to stay cool and colder environment is a good way to cut down on germ, but good Lord :"(. And to mention it is just the first of November and it is already feeling like this

  9. "A typical company. Lots of potential and good people, lots of legacy corporate politics. Management is slowly improving."

    Pros

It's pretty stable. As economies go up and down, there are always reasons to teleconference.

    Cons

Management recently got rid of some toxic leadership, and is steadily improving, but they still have work to do.

    Advice to Management

Invest in your people. Balking at training tells them you don't value them, and robs you of skills, loyalty, morale, and reputation.

Treat your people as if you believe they are worth what you pay them. Make them proud to be there.

You fail at this, horribly. Every person should *expect* a week of dedicated, relevant classes every year, maybe twice a year, usually offsite. Nothing will improve your workforce retention and productivity more.

I have been working at InterCall full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

It is a straight forward 8-5 job. I come into work, do my job, I am not micromanaged by my supervisor and then I go home. I don't have to take my work home with me. It pays well to what is compared in the area. Working in customer service has made me a better person when I deal with other people outside of work and it has also taught me to be more patient in general.

    Cons

I do sit in front of a computer all day and that can be taxing. Sometimes I do feel under appreciated as an employee and the pay rate doesn't change very often.

    Advice to Management

Management tends to have favorites when it comes to employees and everyone needs to be treated equally.
