I worked at InterContinental Hotels Group full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The company is very good if you are not woking in HRSS Gurgaon, India. All other process except this are very good.

    Cons

I left the company in just 3 months as I was going through mental torture by my reporting manager. She used to humiliate me, insult me on the floor. She was also planning to increase my probation period. I could not find the opportunity to grow in the company. I have told everything to my senior manager, however, he also didn't take any action against her. When I left the company in fear from her I had informed my sr. manager about each and everything I faced. However, he didn't say anything to the HRs. I came to know from one of my colleagues that both of them said that they are not aware of why I left the company. I had left that company with a heavy heart. It was my compulsion to leave the company as I was not able to compromise with my self-respect and the torture I was going through any longer.

    Advice to Management

I wish I could rejoin this company ! But I would suggest that the management should be more careful in regards to the kind of treatment employees are getting there. Every employee working in a company has the right to get respect.

I have been working at InterContinental Hotels Group full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Work-life balance is good. Perks and facilities provided by the company is good.

    Cons

HR is really poor and Management too. Favoritism towards girl by manager is a big challenge. People doing hardwork and smart work are not rewarded.Surveys are manipulated ( managers ask to fill survey infront of them and force the employees to give good rating). Even though you raise any issue with HR ( even integrity issues) still no action is taken.HR is completely dominated by process owners.
