I worked at InterMedia Advertising full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Great boss, Jeffrey Jackman and Javier Rico are the best. They have belief in their employees and believe in delegation - not micromanaging. Jeffrey is best when you are stumped and have no answer and he will work with you. Not afraid to deal with bad clients on your behalf.

    Cons

Not enough work - company was losing clients.

I worked at InterMedia Advertising full-time

    Pros

401k, convenient location near freeway and commerce.

    Cons

Retention rates are extremely low, people get laid off with zero explanation which creates constant chaos for their teams. There is no structure, nor is there any sort of proper on-boarding to adequately train people. New employees are thrown to the wolves and then become scapegoats for upper management's constant mistakes. Upper management has absolutely no checks and balances and treat many employees poorly creating a stagnant work culture.

I worked at InterMedia Advertising full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    Friendly co-workers, 401k, easy atmosphere

    Cons

Management continues business practices established in the 1970's, and is in denial that the Internet exists. Computers in the office may be brand new, but sales, creative, and ad tracking methodology are entirely obsolete, with no sign of updating. Executives are just clocking in until they can retire, initiative isn't welcome, and clients are justifiably looking elsewhere.

I worked at InterMedia Advertising full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Location, fine dining & shopping nearby, easy access off freeway, lunch break, pleasing office decor, free bagels on Thursday, weekends off

    Cons

Disorganized and everything is poorly done at last minute, old fashioned thinking, salaried employees now must clock in and out for the day - as well as lunch, adults being treated like children, general lack of respect and zero gratitude

I have been working at InterMedia Advertising full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

Intermedia employs very competent advertising individuals who have been in the industry for many years so have talent for getting the best rates for our clients using their contacts with the different station rep's to our companies high advantage.

    Cons

Family owned company wanting to be run as a power corporation , while corporations are trying to have a family feeling of doing business.
