    Pros

    1. Nice potential to grow once integrated with ICE
    2. Challenging work environment
    3. Go getter attitude of employees
    4. Good medical and 401k plan
    5. Generous vacation policy, though it's changing now

    Cons

Integration hiccups related to title, banding etc.
Company is set to save money which can effect employees
Workplace is not at all fancy with very small kitchens and almost negligible free food

    Advice to Management

Take care of employees. They are the ones driving and retaining customers.

I have been working at Interactive Data full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

    The people
    Good exposure to the industry

    Cons

    Disorganized, moral at all-time low.
Will expect you to put in the work of many while paying well below market value.
Cut vacation days / healthcare benefits less than ideal since being acquired by ICE. Longer workday for less pay. No regard for employees, micromanaging a big problem.
Lacks tools, resources, perspective and compassion. Will always lowball your annual reviews. All divisions lack communication skills. Many new hires do not receive the training in which they need in order to succeed in their role, leaving others to pick up the slack with little to no recognition.

    Advice to Management

Listen to the needs and concerns of your employees. Instead of buying another company, perhaps spend that money on tools, training and resources on those which you've already acquired. Develop a work hard / play hard atmosphere. Show some appreciation and cut the fat that exists within middle management.

    Pros

You will learn a lot about the industry and our clients over time at IDC. Benefits are good.

    Cons

Upper management micro manages the entire company, does not have a full understanding of the work the entry level employees do. Upper management seems to be very cheap. Movement upward is possible, however in some cases there is favoritism. You must expose yourself to others to be known

    Advice to Management

Stop micro managing. Listen to the requests and needs of the employees who approach you
