I worked at Internal Security Associates (More than a year)

    Pros

Over all a decent job. Simple work that provided decent pay for what was asked. Great for employment while in college as a veteran.

    Cons

Management was slightly out of touch with reality in some aspect. Required armed guards to carry without a round in the chamber and did not allow hollow-point rounds which is a security nightmare.

    Advice to Management

Listen to thise that do the job.

    Pros

Most of the Employees are great people with a high percentage being Veterans. Company can be flexible with scheduleing if they can manage it. Pay is higher than average

    Cons

Higher ups can be a pain to deal with, schedueling can often be screwed up, CEO is an egotistical fool,

I worked at Internal Security Associates full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

There is nothing good about this company. One of my co workers wife was in the hospital having a baby and they would not let them go.

    Cons

Management do NOT care about the health and well being of there employees. They text you at 9:00pm and expect you to adhere to a schedule change in less the 24 hours. They have not given me my last pay check. Still waiting.

    Advice to Management

Be good to your employees and you'll get better performance. We are not a tool. Be respectful to people and give them legal notice and pay your employees what they deserve.

I worked at Internal Security Associates full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    They'll hire anyone with a pulse and a DD214
A monkey could do the job

    Cons

    No opportunity for advancement
    No potential for career growth
Unstable hours, get scheduled for 28 hours one week, then 60 the next, and it's always last minute scheduling.
And after leaving, you won't get your last paycheck without taking them to court for it- but the CFO will email you repeatedly telling you it's in the mail... It's in the mail... It's in the mail

    Advice to Management

Do your jobs instead of phoning it in and wondering why everyone hates working for you.
You're not constantly hiring because you're growing, in fact you're losing contracts, it's just you can't go a week without someone quitting
