    Pros

Very flexible schedule, wonderful team, very good ambiance in general.
    Location is great.

    Cons

Tasks tend to be quite repetitive & bureaucratic. The organization lacks dynamism and new interesting projects. Very few chances to get promoted for employees. Minimum wage for interns.

I have been working at International Chamber of Commerce as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

Largest business organization in the world, with respected policy and advocacy guidelines, as well as an esteemed member base with expertise in all parts of the private sector.

    Cons

As with all large organizations, change and implementation takes time. The International Chamber of Commerce is more responsive in some of its commissions than others, but does an overall great job in dealing with change at all levels.

    Advice to Management

Continue the work they are doing - respond rapidly to changes in international trade - and continue to be at the forefront of advocacy for responsible business.

I worked at International Chamber of Commerce full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Insider access to the procedures and dossiers managed by the International Court of Arbitration. As the real rules are unwritten, you have an unparalleled chance to learn them. And meet all the players.

    Cons

Highly political, ethically suspect. High turnover as good staff, even at the very highest levels, are fired or squeezed out all time, usually for acting with integrity or for suggesting positive change.

    Advice to Management

    More transparency!

I worked at International Chamber of Commerce as an intern

    Pros

Colleagues are helpful and friendly. One gets a good exposure by reading all the Awards and participating in the conflict resolving meetings.

    Cons

This internship is a self-motivated internship. The institution doesn't offer much, you have to take initiative to learn and do it on your own.

    Advice to Management

A more streamlined program should be made for the interns.

I worked at International Chamber of Commerce as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

Working with people all around the world was very interesting.

    Cons

It was the most stressful internship I've ever had. The management was awful, there were definitely some tensions between certain departments. Just thinking about it makes me cringe.

    Advice to Management

Hire people who actually care about what they do.
