I worked at International Education Corporation part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

It was a great opportunity to share everything I had learned throughout my career. Getting to teach others what you have learned is a very rewarding experience. For those who don't want to pursue further education, there are plenty of career opportunities in administrative/supervisory positions with minimum education and training requirements.

    Cons

There is always that one mandatory petty manager, like in every other company.
Its not really an education-driven company, just more of corporate America.

    Advice to Management

None. They're just doing the job they get paid for.

I worked at International Education Corporation full-time

    Pros

Had your own office and interviews were face to face versus over the phone. Ability to truly motivate and help people if it was the right fit for them.

    Cons

Revolving door for employees and upper management. In less than one year, I had 4 different directors! That is not an exaggeration. Facilities were subpar, and quite bare. Not very aesthetically pleasing.

    Advice to Management

Something must change if you go through that many directors in about a year. Figure it out so good employees will stick and not scare. Students need to see consistency, and feel comfortable. Understand that community college sometimes IS the better option vs taking out a 19k loan for a 9 mo program that holds little weight.
