I worked at International Education Corporation part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Interacting with the students and trying to help them make a better life.

    Cons

This business is predatory to the students and the faculty. The only entrance requirement is a pulse and the ability to obtain student loans. I had students that were incapable of reading and writing expected to go through a fast computer class. The classes were never in order so a new student that could barely read was out into a class that a junior or senior in a regular college would be in. They would fail and then I would be asked to help them out in other words pass them. Not stop them from gaining debt that they will never be able to pay and no chance of a career in the field. The final straw is the school hides behind arbitration agreements for both the faculty and the students. That way they can continue horrible business practices and hide behind mandatory arbitration.

If you are thinking about taking a job here don't! You will quickly find out why the school has no long term employees.

    Advice to Management

Shut the school down before the feds shut you down.

    Pros

Top performing colleagues are rewarded and recognized well and frequently. Good benefits, competitive pay. Provides opportunity to advance.

    Cons

Company provides an "all about the money" vibe. Every department has numbers to hit that might affect your employment status if not met. From my experience there is no mentorship and more like "get the job done or you're out." Job security is low and turnover rates are very high.

    Advice to Management

Provide personal development trainings/workshops to employees
