    Job security, strong company,

    Cons

    Management only cares about production, not the employee. accountability is only for hourly employees. Training has gotten horrible, the company did away with the apprenticeship program for an in house training program that doesn't work. Pay has been lowered.

    Advice to Management

    Go back to appreciating your seasoned employees. You don't know everything.
    Get the apprentice program back, Your maintenance department is about to retire.

    IP looks to grow people, and they like to do it fast. Extensive technical skills used. Troubleshooting. Fun at times. Constantly improving. Dynamic work environment. Good benefits.

    Cons

    Long work hours. Stressful at times. Extremely fast paced during day. Outages and shutdowns are absolutely brutal. Extremely high expectations. Push to be in new areas, even when undesired.
