I worked at International Profit Associates full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great training program. Interesting clients. Satisfaction of helping small businesses.

    Cons

This company is run by a greed, starting at the top. There are a few decent people at IPA (also known as ISI, IDS, CBS, GPS, GR, ....), but the project managers and analysts are all about the sales, whether the client needs it or not. And so much pressure to sell more and more - even when the client cannot afford more. Heard horrible things fromm female colleagues about how they treat women. Unethical company. Glad to have it behind me.

    Advice to Management

Nurture long term client relationships by doing what is right for them. Nurture long-term employee relationships by treating employees with respect and compensating them fairly for the hell you put them through.

I worked at International Profit Associates full-time

    Pros

Great technical and resource support for consultants in the field, including employee manuals appropriate to every state, standard business measurement techniques, No required weekend work.

    Cons

In recession mode the became more focused on keeping a job running insted of delivering the key idea that will benefit the company and...... jeep the job running. The politics are so thick you can cut them with a knife.

    Advice to Management

Rely on the consultant. Put a lid on the politics. (But the politics ore built into the system)

I worked at International Profit Associates full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Lot of beautiful women work there. If you have at least some experience doing a normal job and have not been put in jail, then you will be a star employee. But even if you just got out of prison, they will hire you!

    Cons

The cons are that there are a lot of hard-core ex-cons and other riff raff that work there. Drugs, violence, and sexual harassment are common. Very high pressure. If you want to work there, see the Wolf of Wall-Street, Boiler Room, and you will get the idea.

    Advice to Management

It is a high-pressure place for a reason so I do not know what can make it better.

I worked at International Profit Associates full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

You can take a shower at the end of the day to wash off the filth.

    Cons

I was there just over a year and quit because I couldn't abide with the sexual harassment and the culture of telling lies to get business.

    Advice to Management

This place is a pest hole and needs an exterminator. Management knew and encouraged the practices listed above. Management needs to develop morals. Replacing Burgess with Steinberg was nothing more than an attempt to take the public eye off the immoral practices in this business.

I worked at International Profit Associates full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Training is exellent if you can hack it. Very stressful.

    Cons

You travel constantly and I mean constantly, every week and get put in situations where you are not really wanted. Have to upsell your time to be recognized.

    Advice to Management

Loose the high pressure call center techniques. Your clients are stressed enough considering they are going bankrupt.

    Pros

You learn about the workings of a business but it is sad that it is at the expense of hard working business owners who get sucked in to IPA's empty promises.

    Cons

IPA is not honest. Period. End of story.

    Advice to Management

Go out of business! The world does not need dishonest business owners!

    Pros

Providing clients with solutions is very rewarding.

    Cons

Emphasis on collections so Mr Burgess can screw his associates.

    Advice to Management

Reach into your own pocket and make your employees whole by paying them. Minimize the amount of time you are holding on employees for payroll and expenses.
