      Pros

Hands on experience, Great coworkers-everyone genuinely wants to bring change to the clients served, Compelling mission, As it has been around for years, it has good name in the humanitarian community,

      Cons

Management is disconnected from what is really happening on the ground (intentionally or unintentionally) Very low pay Hierarchal and top-bottom management style No career development opportunity Most employees burnout that results in high turnover How the organization looks from outside and what it's inside is very different

        Pros

Benefits are good because it's a non profit organization. If you know how to play politics you can sit there forever even with no knowledge for your job.

        Cons

The formal goal of the company is to help people all around the world but they don't care even about their own employees. It's a non human treatment! In fact even on the meetings they called us a resource (not by name or title). Pretty rude management and a lot of ignorant people sitting there for years because of the benefits. I have found it's pretty hard to work in this non human environment.

      Customer Service Representative CSR

I had an interview this afternoon for a customer service position in a call center. The ad was very vague to begin with and at the end of it I felt like I really didn't know anything more about the job. When I asked about the starting pay, which was not published in the ad, they looked incredulous (they were doing on-the-spot hiring today) and then asked me "What's your range?" And only responded with "I think we could meet that." And still never gave me a straight answer. Is this a red flag?

      Software Engineer

I did my initial interview with a “better established” startup and they said the interview process is 5 interviews. 3 technical then 1 interview with the CEO then another technical interview. Idk about you but that seems like a lot of interviews and they said they want to do it as fast as possible in a short time span. Is this a normal amount of interviews? Is this a red flag? For a full stack software position 4-5 years exp how much salary should be the norm in a hcol area?

Is it unprofessional to attend a Zoom interview from within your car? I am currently employed and just landed an interview for tomorrow. It is a virtual interview over Zoom. Should I try to find somewhere besides my car for the interview? I don't know that I could but wanted to get yalls thoughts on this.
