Pros
Benefits are good because it's a non profit organization. If you know how to play politics you can sit there forever even with no knowledge for your job.
Cons
The formal goal of the company is to help people all around the world but they don't care even about their own employees. It's a non human treatment! In fact even on the meetings they called us a resource (not by name or title). Pretty rude management and a lot of ignorant people sitting there for years because of the benefits. I have found it's pretty hard to work in this non human environment.

Pros
Working with International Rescue Committee has introduced me to various professional persons, some skills and knowledge were imparted on protection. Since it is a well established organisation, i'm really happy to be part of the team.
Cons
I find it a great organisation that really cares and respects its workers the people it serves.
