    Positive Outlook

I worked at International Security Management Group full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Lots of hours and locations to work and show your security skills for workplace advancement.

    Cons

Sometimes you will have to work and extended shift, 8-16 hours, in addition to the shift you were scheduled, due to your relief officer not showing up or calling in sick.

    Advice to Management

Have more roving officers available to eliminated overworking employees.

    Negative Outlook

I have been working at International Security Management Group full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Well they have direct deposit, so there is that.

    Cons

The management and directors have unbelievably low morals and ethical standards. The management regularly lie to their property management clientele as well as to their lower staff. The pay is inconsistent in value and they regularly bring personal drama to the workplace.

    Advice to Management

Close the doors! In the world of security, you are a bad joke.

    Pros

Commute to work was closeby and you could work other properties for overtime.

    Cons

Benefits are not that great. They give you all your time off upfront so you can't take any vacation. If you do you won't get paid for it.

I worked at International Security Management Group full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Had no problem getting this job due to extensive experience.

    Cons

Constant Payroll Discrepancies. All the time. Always in the company's favor. Doesn't seem like a coincidence.
Also, hired people don't seem to get raises, one of my coworkers was getting $4 less then me because he has been at that post 3 years longer then me.
Also, knew one site supervisor who was making $3 less then new hires.

    Advice to Management

You receive what you pay for. It's common after being short in you pay to leave your post or arrive early, etc. Best people just leave for greener pastures.

I worked at International Security Management Group full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Great sites available. Once you have established yourself you can move into a site Director's job. The pay is set by the client account you are assigned to.

    Cons

There can be a lot of turn over in the guards. But that is the nature of the business and not specific to this company. The benefits are limited, but again that is normal in this industry.
