I have been working at Intersections full-time

    Pros

Helpful supervisors, flexible scheduling . Small company. Affordable health insurance.

    Cons

Went to cost of living only raise, so won't know until that's released. Took away raises based on merit completely. Doesn't matter - they actually give 12 cent annual raises! Everyone there has 2 jobs.

    Advice to Management

Pay a living wage. Stand up for the Albiquerge site! Customers consistently give Identity Guard A+ ratings! And clean up that filthy stinky place and not just when clients visit! We like clean stuff too.

    Pros

Quite a bit of talent within this organization, most of it overlooked, or overworked.

    Cons

Lots of management and leadership malfunctions, poor processes and no oversight of important policy and procedure. Management plays favorites and friends, over experience and performance, very unfortunate with the amount of talent available in this company over the years. No real direction, closed door executives with no real insight into the poor employee morale, much of that caused by poor leadership practices not monitored or corrected by HR or Top side leadership. Shift bidding, promotion processes, employee recognition, and favoritism, and potential discrimination should all be closely reviewed and corrected. Keep in mind, this is a company I loved and championed for many years, I left in excellent standing, never even so much as one correction action during my years of employment. I did not leave due to some of the major regulatory challenges this company faced in recent years, I left due to poor leadership, clear favoritism, and very poor employee moral with no attempts by management to resolve or reduce.

    Advice to Management

Provide your employees a firm foundation, followed tried and true HR processes for recognition, promotion and internal changes that impact employees a great deal. Your employees make the company.

    Pros

Flexible and laid-back environment, mostly friendly and intelligent people

    Cons

Pay/benefits are mediocre (and salary increases for promotions are insulting), major disconnect between executives and rest of company - both physically (they've separated themselves into a giant room complete with putting green and practice net for golf) and mentally (execs often arrogant and talk down to employees), company is in major financial trouble

    Advice to Management

Pay employees more (currently well below standard for the area) or you will continue to lose great talent

Recent merger took a huge toll on talent.
Huge lack of Integrity from the new team that took over.Run away...

    Advice to Management

    Pros

Great people to work with and good lower level management.

    Cons

Poor upper level management and poor communication. Upper management does not listen or care about what is going on at the lower level of the company. Many favorites and turning a blind eye to many security issues. Communication issues on lower level management due to lack of interest among the supervisory staff.

    Advice to Management

Listen to the people on the floor and stop thinking you are untouchable.

    Pros

Nice place to work when starting your career. Work with some really intelligent people, always an opportunity to build something new.

    Cons

Pay is below market average. Yearly increase is based on cost of living, not merit. Unable to move up in company unless you are friends with someone.

    Advice to Management

    Stop treating employees like numbers.

I have been working at Intersections full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

good coworkers, mainly because management has a tendency to have favorite employees who get all the perks, everyone else (peons) have a common interest in that the management doesn't bother looking in their direction nor listen to their insights

    Cons

management favoritism, secret meeting among manangement, not much room for advancement except for the favorite employees

    Advice to Management

Management needs to allow advancement amongst the department rather than single individuals, these individual gets more recognition and advancement in their career fields because you single them out and allow more exposure to technology. Everyone is only able to administrator their work rather than architect for the company
