Largest hotel management company. Decent reputation with the major brands. Average benefits for property level associates and managers.
Frequent "one size fits all" mentality from the IHR corporate office, which doesn't work for all hotels. Excessive and redundant paperwork for managers. "greed focused" business decisions. IHR used to be "people first" focused, now they're definitely "profit first" focused - even at the expense of hospitality, service, product quality, and their employees.
Advice to Management
Make your people first again. Happy employees work harder and provide better results & service. You can still reap reasonable profit margins, better than industry average, without taking advantage of those who work at the hotels.
