Flexible company
Aug 20, 2015 - Satellite Installation in Lockport, NYRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Company is large but it gives me the flexibility I need with my family. I like the people I work with and the new managers are more helpful than ever before. I have been with Dish for close to 3 years. They've finally hired enough people so we aren't working our whole summer on 60 hours and driving 2 hours to a job. Everyone is much happier now; glad I stuck it out.
Cons
We have to reach Dish goals that are at times not possible. Working in filthy homes isn't pleasant and occasionally customers are thorny but its the job.

It's not a very good company to work for
Mar 30, 2018 - Technician in Watertown, NYRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Good money lots of work allways
Cons
Long hours unreachable goals you are more of a sales associate than a actual tech no one actually cares about quality of work your job constantly gets threatened by management your vacation is not yours they make it so you have to give 30 days notice to use it and constantly try to deny it when you request it they do not care about your well being or family oh and to top it all if you do not get piad the travel to your first job or the travel home from you last so if you're 3 hours out that is 6 hour of unpaid time which should be investigated

"Plenty of opportunities, challenges and rewards"
Feb 14, 2020 - Field Service Technician in Rutland, VTRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
As noted in the headline, there are plenty of opportunities, challenges and rewards here at Intertech. This includes plenty of opportunities for generating solutions, learning new skills, and contributing to modern innovations. The challenges are often centered around how to deliver robust and quality solutions in a timely manner. The rewards are plentiful - competitive compensation and available benefits (I've had several different incentives and bonuses every year I've been here), flexible hours (on 4 days a week, off 3 days a week) and providing solutions to the market which make a positive difference in the world.
Cons
There are very few minor cons
- Current Employee, more than 3 years★★★★★
