    Pros

    Havent been in a while but the benefits are good if you dont mind working for minimum wage. Your given a great pep talk whn your hired.

    Cons

    They have you work awful hours and torment the same people over and over again. Then the commission is never obtainable (I made first payout once, only like $200) and you make all this money for this company and no commission check. Your like a hamster in a wheel. All lies and stories of it's gonna get better and they just hire more people. Horrible experience glad I'm out of there

    Advice to Management

    Pay more and make commission goals real!!!!

    Pros

    Somewhat stable. Some departments have better management than others.

    Cons

    Retro mentality. Lacks positive leadership. Morale is low. Call center employees are treated like inmates.

    Advice to Management

    This company needs an entire reorganization. Small company mentality trying to operate as a corporation.

    I worked at Interval International full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    No pros. Truly bad situation. Try anywhere else before going there.

    Cons

    Extremely disorganized: took weeks for them to provide the tools necessary to do the job, work "plan" was looking busy, and reworking constantly. Amazingly unprofessional: Staff crossing the lines of sexism, racism, and age discrimination trying to be "funny". Management enabling rather than curtailing all of the above.

    Advice to Management

    Do the right thing.

    Pros

    First two years were excellent. Highly autonomous. Commission-based sales reps require flexibility, and management understood that well.

    Cons

    New management valued rigidity over employee morale. Morale suffered, commission-based sales suffered, reps got desperate, clients felt pressured, service suffered, revenue plummeted, culture crashed.

    Advice to Management

    Understand that your previous experience is not a cookie cutter mold that you can apply to every new job you get after running one into the ground.

    Pros

    Work from home two days out of the week.
    Flexible.
    Decent medical insurance.
    Slack. A slackers dream job.

    Cons

    Poor pay.
    Poor work environment.
    No professionalism within teams and management.
    Low moral within the IT team.
    Silos.
    Micromanaged.
    No career advancement opportunities or education support.
    Poor management. Especially in IT and Marketing.
    Very behind in implementing modern web technologies and design practices.
    Management is poor and do not understand basic design principles or standards.
    Cannot challenge the status quo. Not welcomed.
    Waterfall shop. Not a true agile shop.

    Advice to Management

    Trust in your design team and design experts.
    Empower the Web Design Manager and team.
    Grow balls.
    Design team should make the final decision when it comes to the design and experience. Not anyone else.
    Give management leadership classes.

    Pros

    The call center management staff and many of the employees were great to work with, many were passionate about what they did and committed to doing their best.

    Cons

    If call center employees used intermittent FMLA, it dropped their ranking so they got worse schedules, which is a violation of FMLA to punish workers for exercising this right. Interval supposedly stopped doing that in 2014. They also had dozens of IT and Finance Contractors whom there were no records they submitted and passed background checks or drug checks. There were no records these people were even who they claimed to be since there were no records their id was provided, no picture taken for their security access ID badge or their vehicle information. However, minimum wage employees with little to no access to confidential information submitted to all these screenings.
    Most concerning to me is the fact that many tourism and hospitality customers may not realize that IILG manages the back office and therefore customer data for various subsidiaries and partners that may include Trading Places International (TPI), Hyatt Residence Club, Aqua-Aston Hospitality, Vacation Resorts International, VRI Europe, Hyatt Vacation Ownership (HVO), the Hyatt Residence Club, Hyatt Vacation Ownership, other affiliates of Hyatt Hotels Corporation as well as other participants in their timeshare and cruise exchange programs. This potentially exposes hospitality service providers and millions of their customers to data breach without their slightest level of awareness. For example, who would have the resources and perspective to link burglaries of the families of these various providers while they travel? Would investigators be able to identify a pattern and source or would they simply conclude occurrences were unrelated?
    Raising concerns and potential legal and ethical violations to senior executives results in termination.

    Advice to Management

    Value ethics and hold executives accountable. Value employees. Comply with laws and don't retaliate against workers that raise legitimate concerns. Don't allow any "leader" to violate the policies they are suppose to be enforcing, micromanage to the extreme degree, ridicule workers publicly.

    Pros

    They have deep pockets for projects - but just not any projects that you recommend or need.

    Cons

    You are a number. Simple as that. They have no issues about cutting pay, overtime, vacation time or any other unethical but legal thing they can get thier hands on. All systems are convoluted and complex. Ordering any I.T. equipment takes at least 1-2 weeks to be approves and even longer to be shipped. Pay has been cut - for me personally - 30% for the same position, OT removed, benefits cut to minimal and you have at least 3 people to report to. All who which dont speak to each other - so get ready to explain things 5-10 times over and over. The CEO - is a terrible liar. You can clearly see right thru his fake smile whenever you talk to him. Be very weary of its practices and its top level execs. Every single promise we got from Execs has been broken, with no remorse.

    Advice to Management

    Treat your employee's better. Without them you wont have a business to even run. We are not just employee numbers that affect the bottom line, but we are the ones who are actually doing the work to allow you fat cats to keep getting your 6 digit bonus'.
