    Pros

Havent been in a while but the benefits are good if you dont mind working for minimum wage. Your given a great pep talk whn your hired.

    Cons

They have you work awful hours and torment the same people over and over again. Then the commission is never obtainable (I made first payout once, only like $200) and you make all this money for this company and no commission check. Your like a hamster in a wheel. All lies and stories of it's gonna get better and they just hire more people. Horrible experience glad I'm out of there

    Advice to Management

Pay more and make commission goals real!!!!

I have been working at Interval International full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Somewhat stable. Some departments have better management than others.

    Cons

Retro mentality. Lacks positive leadership. Morale is low. Call center employees are treated like inmates.

    Advice to Management

This company needs an entire reorganization. Small company mentality trying to operate as a corporation.

    Advice to Management

    Needs new Management!

I have been working at Interval International full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

They have deep pockets for projects - but just not any projects that you recommend or need.

    Cons

You are a number. Simple as that. They have no issues about cutting pay, overtime, vacation time or any other unethical but legal thing they can get thier hands on. All systems are convoluted and complex. Ordering any I.T. equipment takes at least 1-2 weeks to be approves and even longer to be shipped. Pay has been cut - for me personally - 30% for the same position, OT removed, benefits cut to minimal and you have at least 3 people to report to. All who which dont speak to each other - so get ready to explain things 5-10 times over and over. The CEO - is a terrible liar. You can clearly see right thru his fake smile whenever you talk to him. Be very weary of its practices and its top level execs. Every single promise we got from Execs has been broken, with no remorse.

If you currently work for this company - ever

    Advice to Management

Treat your employee's better. Without them you wont have a business to even run. We are not just employee numbers that affect the bottom line, but we are the ones who are actually doing the work to allow you fat cats to keep getting your 6 digit bonus'.

I have been working at Interval International full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

You get paid? That's really all I can think of. Save yourself your sanity and don't even apply here. Life is too short to waste it here.

    Cons

    They steal from your paycheck.
Creative and/or critical thinking is highly discouraged.
They have the wrong people in key roles.
They are hemorrhaging money because they will not change anything they've done for the past 15 years.
Two people on the marketing team make all the decisions for the whole company.
Tech leadership team is a complete joke. They have zero backbone and cave into the 2 key stakeholders on marketing.
    They won't promote you.
They encourage "yes men" and do not want you to think.
The actual Sunset building is ugly and outdated as much is their way of thinking.
There is no sense of community.
    Too much too list really...

    Advice to Management

Learn how to listen. This is not a dictatorship. Honestly I would clean house with 80% of the senior leadership. They have all been there for at least a decade and do not want to listen or adapt to latest trends/technologies. They are all dinosaurs.

    I can't think of any.

    Cons

Non-existent HR department - total lack of discipline at every level.

    Advice to Management

Treat your staff like human beings rather then "your lucky to have a job" mentality.

I have been working at Interval International full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Historically has been relatively stable. Some travel perks but basically only to Orlando if you get lucky.

    Cons

Very cheap organization. Little to no employee benefits or employee morale events (eg no christmas parties). Annual raises are negligible at best and not competitive with market, if there even is an annual raise; this year management just IGNORED annual raises and communicated no reason as to why, while spending millions buying businesses... that's an incredibly unprofessional way to treat over-worked and under-paid employees.

    Advice to Management

Show more respect for your employees and invest in them. Communicate much better.

I have been working at Interval International full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Use of resorts for vacation. Vacation time. Overtime is available during peak season and can really increase earnings if taken advantage of.

    Cons

Typical call center job. High stress. Non-stop calls. Schedule will be horrible, 3pm-11pm until your seniority increases which can take forever. Commissions are nowhere what they used to be.

    Advice to Management

Bring back incentives to keep talented experience reps on your phones. Lost too much talent when commissions and bonuses started deteriorating.

I have been working at Interval International full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The position always requires one to think on their feet and adapt. You are exposed to all facets of the IT operation and will get experience with any matter you would want to move from in the IT field. Get experience among a large user base and with multiple resorts, offices, all situated in multiple countries.

    Cons

There are no rules that are set in stone and the the rules change depending on the day and whether or not the person complained or not. Coordination and communication between management and the multiple teams are lacking at best. There is no recognition to be garnered from anyone besides the agent you work with. Team members on an on call agreement rarely answer the phones. There is no team environment and can get more accomplished if you realize this early. No one feels adequately trained.

    Advice to Management

Stop Fighting Fires and manage the teams properly. Try to use more forsight when managing when planning in the future instead of putting out the immediate fire. Encourage the employees and listen to them because the office rises or falls because of their moral and output. Defend your employees and be their advocate when it comes to upper management.

    Cons

The better you do the more the company wants to restrict you. Very basic call center with not as big of a commission that has been here in the past.
