I have been working at Intralinks full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

I've been working in the software field for almost 20 years, and this is one of the best gigs I've had in that time. The company culture and work/life balance is what strikes me first overall, and the team of which I'm a part is fantastic: smart, supportive, capable, collaborative, etc. -- everything just about everyone would want. The other teams with which I've worked and have met are in the same vein.

    Cons

We've had tremendous turnover within the executive ranks and added additional management layers in different departments -- which could potentially be concerning, but after meeting just about all of them recently I believe we're heading in the right direction. 2016 is shaping up to be an awesome and potentially break-through year.

    Advice to Management

As the org chart and company expand, please continue to be transparent regarding the management (and any other) changes and why we're in a better spot all the time.

    Pros

Smart team of young talented professionals. The company is well respected and the clear cut leader in the industry. The business has taken a position over the last few years to invest in their employees and have built out a career road map for everyone. Managers encourage their colleagues to explore new ideas and take on new initiatives/responsibilities.

    Cons

There are inefficiencies in the way things things get prioritized and accomplished in the company. The new CFO seems to have identified many of these issues and plans to make significant improvements.

    Advice to Management

Listen to the market and the users and prioritize development accordingly. Continue to invest in your people, identify stars, and help them grow within the organization.
