Big name among consulting companies. Reliability and prestige.

      Pros

Huge positioning over most big companies within Greece and many more on EU. Employer's safety and reliability on its employees during covid period played a crucial role on company's prestige. Chances to work on latest techs and big enterprise projects. Management takes care of possible problems and worries with an intent to give a solution.

      Cons

Employee evaluation takes too long and its horizontally oriented, mostly like an annual procedure where everyone needs to be evaluated and not like an individual process of goals and performance that needs to be re-evaluated in a short period of time. Impossible to change client once you placed there. Your reason to stay for a long time or to resign shortly depends only on customer and what conditions you will face there (100% luck). Company's premises are located too far away from centre.

      Pros

Good environment to work. Stable and continuously growing company with opportunities to evolve based on personal ability and wiliness.

      Cons

On customer based projects, the technology stack could be outdated.

Great place for entry-level tech graduates to launch their career

      Pros

Generic: - No issues with leave, pay or insurance - Private health/life insurance - Work/life balance: The company allows different start times (between 8.30 and 11.00 am) and respects the 8h working day. - Training opportunities: Plenty of self-study (role-related and not) material on training platform, as well as instructor-led sessions on the company's premises. - Young, fresh, collaborative teams - Co-workers willing to help and educate fellow team-members, especially new-joiners - Possible to switch between roles and teams Role-specific: - Fast-paced, growing environment - Ideal role for entry-level tech graduates who want to be part of large tech projects from design, implementation, and testing, to deployment, while becoming familiar with various cross-functional business processes - Little micromanagement; much space to take initiative and grow into the role as a subject-matter expert

      Cons

The following are not exactly cons, as the company makes contonuous efforts towards all the below points. These are suggestions that would have made my experience a 5/5. Hiring: Employees are sometimes placed (from the beggining) in teams/projects based on the company's needs, regardless of their preferences in technologies/roles, with the promise of a later re-assignment to a team/project closer to their interests. Role expectations and performance review process: - Modernisation efforts by HR not always taken seriously by management - No goal/OKR setting at the beggining of each cycle - No baseline expectations set per role and level => no objective measure of employee's performance come evaluation day - No meaningful, constructive, perfomance and compensation conversations between management and employees - Hard to calibrate performance Unattainable training opportunities: Role-related duties leave little time for employees to join the various instructor-led (role-related and not) trainings, especially for employees who do not work at the HQs. Culture: - The company hires entry-level employees (which is awesome) but does not prioritise training them with regards to soft skills. Nevetheless, managers seem to expect employees to have said skills on their own (visible disconnect with HR). - Management (and especially upper management) is not diverse.

      Worst work experience and management

      Pros

      1. Monthly Payments 2. No other pros

      Cons

      1. Patras branch Review: The building is dirty, lacking basic functionalities. The upper management showed multiple times rude and unprofessional behaviour. (That is the reason why in almost 2 years of the branch's existence, an important number of people have left this place) In one phrase: Toxic environment. 2. Working overtimes, most of them not paid at all. 3. Long hours can be even more than 12 hours some days, including weekends. 4. If you say NO to working overtimes and on the weekends, you will be the black sheep. 5. Salaries are really low. 6. If you work overtimes nearly every day, you may(will) hear promises for salary raises. Don't fall into this trap. You will probably get nothing. 7. Forget about quality of deliverables. Almost no one cares about quality. 8. Estimations for projects are given mostly by managers who have no technical background, so you are expected to deliver code that usually needs 4 months, in 2 weeks. 9. HR is completely out of the picture. 10. If you are a junior, please search for a company that will help you learn and deliver with quality. 11. If you are a mid/or senior, you already know the answer: Stay away. PS. You will probably notice a bunch of positive reviews coming after a negative one, "obscuring" it. That is a bit "weird" :)

If you value you work and you have expertise this is not the place for you

Apr 5, 2021 - Junior Software Engineer in Athens

      Business Outlook

      Pros

      - Stable environment - Large Projects -Multinational environment - Good people

      Cons

      - Low salaries. Forget the increases in the salary. The company is making pretty good job in being famous for not giving increases - Team Leaders are a joke. They rarely know what you are doing and what is your level in terms of technical achievement. - The company won't spend a dime on a professional IDE. If you something like that you'll have to spend from your own low salary - Nothing new in the technologies in terms of innovation. The code you'll have to face is what the client handles to the company and that's it. If you want a stable salary and and have a family to raise then this is the place to be. But if your vision is to evolve as a programmer this place is not for you. Turn around and run fast
