I have been working at Intuit full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Culture where employees and leaders on up to the CEO truly care about you as a human being - we are an 8,000+ global FAMILY! Inspiring, vulnerable and down-to-earth leadership - you can feel free to talk to any leader at any level in the company and they will truly listen. The work we do matters - we improve the LIVES of people around the world. We drive the economies of the world by helping small businesses be successful and we put more money in the pockets of consumers so they can take care of themselves, their families and their dreams!

    Cons

We are innovating so fast now that we have to continue to be thoughtful about how we ensure our employees feel fully supported.

    Advice to Management

Don't ever lose sight of what makes Intuit special - the people who care about one another - including senior leaders.

    Pros

The place paid very well, good benefits and good working atmosphere I think it would be a better place without some managment

    Cons

They have massive lay offs, the managers are over paid and not very knowledgable about any other industry, only the intuit products

    Advice to Management

Don't trust your managers, they tell you one thing and do another, they scew the numbers so they look good and we dojt

    Pros

Amazing CEO who drives a truly special values-driven culture. I would never want to leave and work for anyone else.

    Cons

Hiring freezes make it difficult to grow and advance in your career. I never want to stop moving forward and always want to exceed my goals, so I just wish there were more opportunities to do so.

    Advice to Management

Brad Smith is wonderful and is a one of a kind leader.

I have been working at Intuit full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Best benefits I've ever had, bar none. Every nook and corner of the benefits package is generous. Company has a great mission.

    Cons

Work priorities seem to be constantly shifting. Org structure constantly shifting. Recently, HR is producing employee "development" materials that seem aimed at preschoolers. Lots of work assignments seem to provide no contribution to the company mission.

    Advice to Management

Your employees aren't preschoolers. Ditch the gold stars.

    Pros

Great pay, benefits and work-life balance.

    Cons

Too many reorganizations and changes. Sometimes it feels like a stagnant environment to work in.
Career opportunities are limited until someone retires. No growth professionally in remote sites.

    Advice to Management

Cut the bureaucracy down. Too many layers of communication between teams.
