I have been working at Intuit full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Smart co-workers, great company-wide support/value for design and user research, good compensation and benefits, great company culture. Managment open to feedback + many avenues to help solve what you think needs improved.

    Cons

Promotion paths can be a bit blurred or confusing.

    Advice to Management

Keep on doing what youre doing! Keep listening and iterating on feedback.

    Pros

This is one of those companies that really talks the talk and walks the walk. They actually care for their employee's the way they say they do. I really enjoyed being a part of this company.

    Cons

Though they care for the employee's, the trade off is there is no real loyalty to the employee. When the org changes (it always does at Intuit...) and they think they no longer need you, they are done with you. No opportunities to look for other roles in the org. They take good care of you while you are there, but when they are done with you, that's it.

I have been working at Intuit full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Great opportunities to learn and grow.
    Work-life balance is valued.
    Brad walks the walk.

    Cons

Meeting culture. Some people are of the mindset the meetings == visibility. Meetings are thrown around to solve problems. You spend more time talking than you do working.
There seem to be too many reorganizations. This can impact morale.

    Advice to Management

    More work, fewer meetings.

I have been working at Intuit full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Autonomy + Flexibility + Collaborative + Selfless = an infectiously good environment to ply one's trade

    Cons

Consensus-based decision making, while inclusive, can inadvertently slow the process - seeing an idea into fruition can occasionally require perseverance (but this, in their defense, holds true for most companies of a certain size)

I have been working at Intuit full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Company goals communicated clearly from the top down to the Contributor level.
    Well positioned for growth.
Serious software company - solving actual problems
A lot to play with - Software and Data

    Cons

Heavy emphasis on winning together and less on individual accountability - takes some getting used to. Not a serious con, but I put it here since Glassdoor requires us to put in a Con as a mandatory field.
