    Wonderful work/life balance, empowerment to make the right decisions, constant employee engagement and always keeping the work-day fun, outstanding sense of community and giving back, the best people to work with

    Cons

    Overload of all-hands meetings, could be more efficient ways to model transparent communication without so many all-hands meetings.

    Exciting changes and new focus

    Pros

    The people. I enjoy going to work every day to work along side smart and friendly people. There is a lot a great teamwork and minimal egos.
    Opportunities to learn. Intuit invests in its employees and provides opportunities to learn new skills and develop your career.
    Great atmosphere. The work environment is comfortable. Great facilities and amenities.
    Emphasis on doing quality engineering work.
    Good work - life balance.

    Cons

    Occasional reorganizations
    Lack of innovation in some areas
    Lack of bold product management
    Lack of a culture of contributing to open source projects

    Advice to Management

    Give more time for employees to work on whitespace projects and new ideas.
    Invest more in AI and machine learning

    Great company to work for. Good solid team work that fosters creativity and growth

    Cons

    Management team very focused on dates, but does not understand the necessary steps to get there which leads to missed dates and re-works because too many short cuts were taken to try and meet these dates.

    Before finalizing date and locking down, have the team spend the time to understand the goals and scope and develop a plan to get ther

    Collaborative, supportive, innovative, flexible, engaged, community minded, socially conscious.

    Intense, conservative at times, decks!

    Advice to Management

    Stay competitive with your neighbors, but stay the course on your principals. The core of the company's values are what cannot be faked or easily moved - keep it up!

    Great facilities, good benefits, great stock options, absolutely horrible management. Never again.

    Cons

    Incompetence reigns. This company will implode soon.

    We need better food options in Reno. Thankfully there are eateries close by that we can go to

    The IT leadership is very forceful and demanded. There is no work life balance.

    Senior leadership must respect engineers personal life and give the engineers a chance to grow their careers.

    Pros

    Financially stable and the culture pushes to thrive for better technology.

    Cons

    Very political environment. The engineers are pushed hard and the management will not support their engineers when it is needed. In addition, culture is geared toward younger engineers and slowly they push out the older engineers.

    Advice to Management

    Support your staff when is needed and not just to cover your own bases.
