I have been working at Intuit full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Good Salary, Bonus, RSU, Stock Price, Health benefits

    Cons

Leaders are good and have a great vision and mean well. But this does not get trickled down to the employees.Middle management is very toxic. Nepotism is rampant and the good employees are impacted while the bad ones are nurtured. Old timers need to be cleaned out big time. Career growth is zero.

    Pros

    Intuit clearly values its engineers
Challenging interview process means you work with the best
    Learning opportunities everywhere
    Better-than-market compensation and benefits
    On-site cafe

    Cons

legacy tools are a drag man

    Advice to Management

I think clear team boundaries and interfaces would dramatically improve productivity and reduce friction between teams.

I have been working at Intuit full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Take care of their employees. Good if you like to work in the finance world. Lots of sharp people. Salaries are exceptional.

    Cons

Silos everywhere. Constantly re-organizing. Have the money to put people on idle that they are not using yet. Still using lots of legacy technologies.

    Advice to Management

Don't bring a new person in the same week you are planning a re-organization. Lay people off instead of making them idle for months.

I have been working at Intuit full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

    bonus and RSU are good.

    Cons

Too much middle management. This is a good retirement company. It's equivalent to a government company with private sector salary. Your career will end at teh same level where you joined. In other words there is no growth. Company is expanding in India which means every job in US is at RISK.

    Advice to Management

Stop putting big words as principles. Value engineers not managers

I have been working at Intuit full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    * Great Company, excellent benefits, awesome values, and well-recognized name in software Industry

    Cons

Middle-Tier management is insecure, and spoil some of Intuit values for their insecurity.

    Advice to Management

Upper management should actively monitor how middle-tier management is functioning, and validate their claims. Also help engineers drive the technical meetings, presentations to the client, instead of middle-tier management.

I have been working at Intuit full-time

    Pros

Salary is very competitive, plus bonus and stock options. Health Care allowance plus $600 per year for health/fitness initiatives. Employees are also able to purchase additional shares at a discounted rate. Very social office culture.

    Cons

Too many meetings that deliver too little benefit. Decision-making is improving but still has a way to go. We need to live up to our core values, not just display them around the office - Be Bold, Be Passionate and Deliver Awesome.
