You learn a lot and some of the lobbyists are really good mentors, others not so much.
Cons
It depends on your practice group but the younger staff work insane hours and are always expected to be online while the head lobbyists take 100 vacations and go dark whenever they want. I think it has gotten better but my time there was incredibly stressful and not worth it.
