    Pros

Invesco has great hours, excellent benefits and time off if with thevNYSE so extra days.

    Cons

There is a lot of walking from garage to building.

    Advice to Management

My management team was amazing, always willing to work around family needs.

    Pros

Great vacation package - 15 days for new employees, 7 sick days and 2 personal days
    Good 401(k) contribution
    Lots of professional development opportunities
Large company that values promotion from within.

    Cons

Slightly lower than average salaries and because of weak economy in 2009 raises were limited.
You could make more money working for a larger investment company, but low cost of living in Houston makes up for it.

I have been working at Invesco full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

After my first 8 months at Invesco, I don't have one negative thing to say. All of the employees are extremely driven and talented. Upper management is very approachable and truly want to develop your career, rather than simply put your skills to use. The company culture is fantastic, and pay/benefits are well above the industry average in my group.

    Cons

Nothing negative to say about Invesco. Very pleased with the company's commitment to better its employees. Excelent benefits and a great place to grow your career.

I have been working at Invesco full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Smart people, interesting work, salary, great benefits, varied projects (depends on department), non-management have considerable flexibility in schedules, culture committees in some locations do a good job of creating fun events

    Cons

Cultures clash in some areas from acquisitions, hierarchical, too many things going on at once (can't focus on getting something done right - too busy trying to check things off the list, competing priorities)

    Advice to Management

Doing a million things half-good doesn't make a great company. Listen to the people who do the work. They can tell you how to get better.

I worked at Invesco full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

While I have heard it was better in the past, it was still a great place to work. Great vacation. Good Pay. Flexible hours for those that needed it.

    Cons

People that were made managers only because of tenure, and not managerial talent.

    Advice to Management

    You're doing a good job.

I have been working at Invesco full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Invesco will give you what you ask for, and what you prove you are capable of. Of course, it is a large company and moves largely as one would expect for its AUM and employee count - but where you show talent, they will let you run.

    Cons

It is a big company, and thus always squeezing efficiencies out. Expect them to watch the nickles and pennies as aggressively as the dollars.

    Advice to Management

I really only wrote this review as I stumbled onto some reviews that I did not think were fair on a job site. They are good people, and treat you fairly. Work hard, show talent, and you will be rewarded. If you are disappointed, try the mirror first.

I have been working at Invesco full-time

    Pros

Family-like working culture. Everyone wants the best for each other. Pay is competitive. Great firm, leading the ETF industry.

    Cons

Owned by Invesco. They have no idea how to handle us. As a mutual fund company, they simply don't get is as an ETF provider.
