I worked at Invisible Fence full-time for more than 2 years

    Pros

Great people to work with. Great place to learn all kinds of skills and grow as an individual. Freedom to be somewhere different every day meeting new people and training their pets on the system.

    Cons

No opportunities to advance your career to upper level management or ownership. But it's a great place to work if your looking for a challenge both physically and mentally.

    Advice to Management

You need more incentives for either your commission structure or hourly pay scale in order to prevent consistent turnover for your secondary techs and front office staff. They will take you more seriously and stick around longer if you make them feel more valued in some way since there are no opportunities for advancement. Also..... I have no idea who owns the franchise in Jax anymore. But whoever the owner is should...

I worked at Invisible Fence full-time for more than 4 years

    Pros

The management cares for the employees in a very uncommon way. Employees are treated fairly and with kindness. Employees are constantly challenged to improve, which increases client satisfaction and retention. Pay is above industry average with monthly "on-time" bonus, commission, and other financial incentives, such as an attainable yearly sales-incentive, all-expense paid vacation. Sales are part of the job, but...

    Cons

Working outside in inclement weather is difficult, but management provides warm winter (Carhart style) coats free to employees. Additionally, hours can be long from late March to October but slows down during the remainder of the year. Management tries to keep employees full-time and has in the past offered pay-advances to be deducted during the busier season.

    Advice to Management

    Continue to pursue

I have been working at Invisible Fence full-time

    Pros

Awesome people to work with. Great working with dogs. Get to bring your dog to work every day depending on heat. Company car and gas money included.

    Cons

Drive a lot in one day. A bit seasonal as things slow down in winter time.

I worked at Invisible Fence full-time

    Pros

Drive a company vehicle and build customer relations. Easy to take time off. If you like manual labor and getting burnt out, this is for you.

    Cons

Terrible management They will work you into the ground Not a lot of support Support team doesn't know how to fix anything Products fail sometimes

    Advice to Management

Look at turnover and make some changes. Hire 18 year olds right out of high school who have no ambitions other than to make money. Don't waste time going after university graduates because they will see right through the bs and leave.
