I worked at Invuity full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

    Benefits, and initial pay.

    Cons

New CEO has trashed every company/division he’s ever run. He’s burnt thru more cash than stadium full of crack addicts seeking their next high. Investors Are pissed, and EVERY quarter they are desperate and in a state of panic. Threats, idiot managers, and over priced products., and just a miserable atmosphere to work within.

    Advice to Management

Board of directors is worthless and extremely overpaid. This company will eventually run out of cash as all they do is burn it. You should see the headquarters they built . Extravagant waste of money.

I worked at Invuity full-time for more than 5 years

      Pros

Excellent benefits (401k, medical, dental, vision) and vacation time. Well located central in SF (Potrero Hill). Nice office, big space. Some nice coworkers.

      Cons

Anyone with a Director and up level live to curry up favors with their superiors to hold a longer life span on the company. Thy will do legal and shady un-legal things to gain favors. Promotions are to people that are preferred employees and not to whom may really deserve it. At some point, only one VP was original from before, indicating high turnover (this VP was 2 years in only, all other where newer).

      Advice to Management

Will never hear anything. They got rid of and HR person that that trying to make things right.

      I worked at Invuity full-time

      Pros

New office, great employees, free food, casual dress code

      Cons

Felt that more money was invested on the aesthetics of the company rather than their own employees or hiring more staff when departments were shorthanded and overworked.
