I have been working at Iovation Inc full-time

    Pros

I've watched iovation evolve from a boot-strappy start up to a multi product, enterprise security company in my years here, and have really appreciated how our leadership team (particularly the three founders) have been able to keep our culture intact throughout. I've never been so happy with and so inspired by a company I've worked for at any other time in my career.

    Cons

Eventually we'll exit and have to find other jobs.

    Advice to Management

Keep to the course we're on.

I have been working at Iovation Inc full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Very smart and dedicated staff. Strong culture. Passionate about helping banks, retailers and other online businesses detect fraud. It's exciting to be on a team that is paving the way to a passwordless future.

The 2016 acquisition of LaunchKey has been very exciting as it extends iovation's device-based authentication service to a full multifactor authentication suite. The transition of rolling the LaunchKey employees and technology into iovation was seamless.

Employees love iovation's commitment to community and volunteer days, supporting non-profits such as Oregon Food Bank, Free Geek, Children's Book Bank, p:ear, Village Gardens, New Avenues for Youth, Tualatin Hills Park & Recreation and Janus Youth.

    Cons

Sometimes the sun comes out and we have to pull down the shades, blocking an incredible view of Portland from the 32nd floor of Big Pink.

I worked at Iovation Inc full-time

    Pros

Great culture and dedicated team that is focused on customer satisfaction. Fascinating technology to fight online fraudsters. Excellent working conditions and good benefits.

    Cons

Competitors are gaining on and in some cases have passed up the company with more innovative product development. They also have been more aggressive with marketing and pricing so most sales are a dogfight.

    Advice to Management

Get more innovative soon. Set a plan and go for it. Don't let Finance drive all the decisions; take some risks before its too late

I have been working at Iovation Inc full-time

    Pros

The work-life balance is really nice here. The option to work from home, take personal days and work around doctors appointments etc. The culture is great, people are supportive and collaborative. The work is challenging and fun, there are lots of opportunities to learn cutting edge technology.

    Cons

Pay and benefits seem to be a little less competitive. Raises seem are relatively performance related but the yearly reviews don't hint at what goes into your raise amount.

    Advice to Management

Management here is responsive, decently attentive but rather un-organized when looking at a broad company image. It would be really great to see coordination improve across company management.

    Pros

iovation is a terrific place to work and the employees are proud to be helping online businesses in the fight against online fraud. We work with global virtual crime fighters (fraud analysts) at retail, finance, gaming, dating and other online sites - and together we track the latest fraud trends and put preventative techniques in place so that those businesses are not hit by credit card fraud, identity fraud, account takeover situations and more.

    Cons

Many of our gaming / MMO customers are Korean and it would be great to have more Korean-speaking employees.

    Pros

Wonderful work environment and excellent benefits.

    Cons

High potential for lay-offs if you do not where many hats extremely well.

    Advice to Management

Use contractors for temporary work so direct hired employees are more secure and don't waste money on crazy expansion plans.

I have been working at Iovation Inc full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Friendly company that seems to value employees

    Cons

Like most US companies, it is US centric. But they are trying to make UK employees feel included.

    Advice to Management

Don't loose the customer focus and care.
