I have been working at Ipsos full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

I've seen great improvement with Ipsos taking action toward employees concerns and ideas. We have career (trade fairs) to educate and encourage internal division transfers, hiring classes for entry level (which means more support and working efficiently) and they provide more conferences/trainings for personal and career development.

I've been with the company for about 9 years and I can say we are headed the right direction.

    Cons

None at this time. No company is perfect, but Ipsos listens to its employees and works.

    Advice to Management

    Continue putting employees first.

I have been working at Ipsos full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

rated #2 most innovative MR company in the world and you see this in a lot of areas - behavioral economics, observational, social media, neuroscience etc so some fun things to get involved with. Business is very strong this year which takes some pressure off and has helped with bonuses etc. there are many really smart people to work with here

    Cons

would be good to do more company social events - when we do, they are a great way to meet people from other divisions/different backgrounds, but don't think there are enough of them

    Cons

Sometimes the workload peaks can be challenging given the amount of project work

    Advice to Management

Keep focusing on the new tools and techniques

    Pros

Management appears to care about us. Conduct regular employee surveys & monitor the progress. Department Town Halls as well as Quarterly All Employee Town Halls.
Access to Sr. Leadership - started an Ask Pierre (Ask CEO) Blog a few years ago in which every question is posted and answered. Some changes in our benefits have resulted in Ask Pierre (i.e. Paternity Leave, more Maternity Leave, etc).
Continue to hire good talent / look to transfer talent between business units which is always a good thing.

    Cons

    Technology is lacking at times

    Advice to Management

    Continue to care and listen

    Pros

    Many international opportunities
Very good experts in their domain
Very collaborative and nice people to work with

    Cons

Compensation and benefits can always be improved

    Advice to Management

I am working with Lauren Demar since 2 years as a direct report and It has been very interesting, stimulating and rewarding. She is a brilliant, smart professional who always tries to help you take the next step in your job/career and to get the best for yourself. Ipsos is full of amazing professionals and attracts nice and collaborative people. It is a mix of people being there for a long time and new recruits which makes it even more interesting and refreshing.
Of course we work long hours but also the company is trying to balance the hard work with company bank holidays and summer Fridays.

Keep making this place a nice place to work!

I worked at Ipsos as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Given fair amount of autonomy
    Interesting projects to work on
    Lots of training opportunities
    Variety of work assignments
    Interesting Coworkers

    Cons

    Can be high stress
    Lots of conflicting deadlines
Occasional disorganization in other departments that affect your assignment

    Advice to Management

I suggest that managers occasionally check in with employees a bit more regularly when assigning larger projects. It can be helpful to know that someone has your back when all the deadlines start piling on.
