    Pros

    You get to keep up with what is current and popular with public media. Get paid to sweep the internet and gather information/data for clients. Try to take down infringing copyright material that is distributed online illegally. Fairly easy and flexible daily tasks assigned to you and management expects you to put in your best work. Fun environment.

    Cons

    Expected to work on Holidays that your work day lands on. Need to use your PTO to request the holidays you want off well in advance. Nearly impossible to change your schedule if you are already assigned to it.

    Advice to Management

    More standing desks. Don't let the clients milk more hours than we have the man power for, it's dishonest to the other clients.

    Pros

    no dress code, lots of snacks, parties and events. health benefits are paid completely by the company.

    Cons

    Be prepared to stay at the current pay level for the foreseeable future. The most these type of positions are paid is a whopping 16.80 and that's after a few years of employment.

    Advice to Management

    Pay your analysts more. Then they won't jump ship as soon as one of the studio's has an opening.

    I worked at Irdeto (More than a year)

    Pros

    I particularly enjoyed working for the SVP of Engineering back when San Francisco had an office. He was excellent in his role. Overall the senior management were pretty good. Most of the engineers were bright and fun to work with, although there was always that percentage of tolerance for a few mediocre hires when they didn't want to lose headcount, which is something often seen in mid-sized companies. The salaries paid seemed to be on par with the market.

    Cons

    No stock options and the bonuses were pretty bad. The biggest difficulty at Irdeto is the fact that it is a globally distributed company, meaning offices everywhere. So having access to your management line could be complicated and timezones were a big issue. The CEO and Senior management move around alot, so if you're working at that level communication could be impacted.

    Advice to Management

    I have no positive or negative advice for management at Irdeto and will keep typing on this sentence for a 20 word minimum

    Pros

    Good coworkers
    Searching for 20 words required by glassdoor is hard to do when thinking about pros for this company.

    Cons

    This place is a rolling disaster. Management is riddled with people who each have their own agenda. From Graham Kill down its monkey tree management - from the top down its all smiles, from the bottom up, its all... Well, you get the picture.

    This company is like a lint brush that collects bad technology decisions.

    Advice to Management

    Keep doing everything you're doing. And good luck with that.

    Cons

    SLT is not open to ideas that they don't develop. The US is truly disconnected from the rest of the company. They over work their employees and unless you are supporting or on the SLT team you will be treated unfairly and disregarded. They have different standards set from the other offices.

    Advice to Management

    CEO needs to take a closer look at he SLT team in the US and listen to the employees other than SLT.

    Pros

    * Great benefits
    * Good pay
    * Easy working atmosphere

    Cons

    Senior leadership is absolutely terrible, and have no idea what they are doing.

    They had a lay off and let 1 engineer go in our department. In the next month 3 people quit because of the layoff, and so they had to re-hire the original engineer. 3 more quit because they decided to remove our bonuses and stop trying to hire employees. A few week later the leadership team decided to move all the remaining jobs to Europe, despite the fact that we have been working extra hard to cover for the losses.

    2 days after the second layoffs all the jobs were posted in Europe an addition to the ones we have been asking for the entire time.
